Our party encountered a couple of issues and Parrish Kauai was very accommodating. The first involved a scary maintenance issue that the company responded to quickly, sending a crew within an hour or so to deal with it. The second involved health issues that broke out in our group that disrupted our stay. Parrish Kauai was very understanding of the problems faced, helpful and guided us as to how to deal with our responsibilities in closing out our rental. All of this while they were struggling to assist all of their clients in Maui who were impacted by the tragic fire there. Finally, we dealt with over half a dozen people at Parrish Kauai and they were all top notch and considerate professionals. We have no problem recommitted them and would definitely use them again!

Stunning house!

This home was amazing. It was perfect for our large family size. Everything we needed was available in the house. The beach was only steps away and stores were only a few minutes drive. Would highly recommend this home.

Best house on Kauai

I an born and raised Hawaii and this has to be one of the best locations w a view, house is incredible and clean. It has a full kitchen w BBQ and 2 master bedrooms. We cooked dinner almost every night and the kitchen is fully equipped. Special highlights we loved- Out door shower Yard on the water Cool trade winds And the Lanai over looking the ocean is TOP NOTCH and we spent most of our time there.

We had a terrific stay. We had six people (four adults and two small children). The area is right near a walking distance not-too-crowded beach that was perfect for lounging, and was protected so that the kids could enjoy the water. The host was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The location itself is perched right above the water so you have views of the ocean and the island backdrop in a panorama. Pretty surreal. House was cozy with lots of windows to enjoy the surrounding. The location is close to town (10 minutes) to fill up on groceries, but just far away that it has a low-key beachy out-of-the-way vibe. Thoroughly enjoyable vacation experience.

Great House; Great Location

My wife, me, and our two adult children rented this house to celebrate both of them finishing graduate school. It was perfect. There a couple of things that one should know about it though: 1) the upper bedroom is actually open to the living room below, so if anyone is in the main living areas, people cannot be sleeping in the 3rd floor bedroom. (to be fair, the listing does say loft) 2) the bathrooms are miniscule; absolute minimum by code, space is clearly given over to very generous and nicely appointed common areas. The management company was very communicative and professional. Do it!

Kauai Dream House

We stayed at this house back in 2019 and when we returned 3 years later, it was still paradise! I noticed improvements to the house such as AC in every room now, that is a very welcomed addition! My wife and I had a fabulous time and we look forward to returning and staying here again. Mahalo! P.S. The patio is perfect for stargazing at night.

Amazing house in an amazing area. Very clean and comfortable. You could stay at the house all day and enjoy the view, walk two minutes to the little beach or drive to one of the many things to do close to the house. Airy beachfront house

Beautiful, well-appointed, airy beachfront house. In January, we could watch both sunrise and sunset from the lanai as well as the Spouting Horn. The small beach at the Kukui'ula Small Boat Harbor has very nice sand and decent snorkeling, is much less crowded than the beaches in front of the Poipu hotels, and is only 3-4 minute walk from the house. Fathom Five scuba diving boats moor in the harbor, so you can walk to your dive boat from the house. One of our group slept in the bed in the ground-floor entry, which served as a 4th bedroom, and has its own bathroom on the ground floor. Only drawback to the house is that guests in loft don't have their own bathroom. French doors that open onto lanai from master bedroom are wonderful. House has so many windows (all screened), no need for AC. Parrish is very responsive.

Beautiful home in paradise!

We could not have asked for a better vacation space on the water! This home has an incredible view of the ocean from almost every room and the most wonderful deck overlooking the ocean for morning coffee or evening beverages. We loved opening the doors to our cozy bedroom each morning and listening to the waves roll in. Great amenities and close proximity to many delicious restaurants and beautiful beaches. We will certainly be back!

The perfect vacation

The location of this beach front property was everything my wife and I could have asked for! We enjoyed sitting on the deck early in the morning to admire the sunrise or the view of the bay. Access to the beach for a swim was so close and easy to get to. The house itself is so clean and cozy and the option to run air conditioning made it glorious if you got too much sun! We definitely will be back.

Perfect Paradise!!!

Amazing! This is the best location in Kauai with ocean views from every room and steps away from the warm, crystal clear waters. I went here simply to relax and enjoy a family gathering for my Dad’s 70th birthday. This spot was perfect for all age groups whether watching a sunset from the patio or staying active in the ocean. It was so peaceful and I can’t get wait to get back. The rooms were spacious and accommodated everyone’s needs. Plus, the air conditioning kept everyone cool. The best part was snorkeling with the turtles right outside the home without needing to drive or find a spot at the beach.

It was amazing!!!!!!

The house was as shown in the pictures which was fabulous and the view could not be beat. I was so so happy. It’s was the perfect place for my family vacation. The only hiccup was a leaking toilet but they fixed it immediately. I definitely recommend Parrish as a rental company and highly recommend this house.

Great House-Great Location!

The house is as advertised. The location is a quiet neighborhood, but close to snorkeling, surfing, golf, Waimea Canyon and lot\'s more. Really enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the deck overlooking the ocean. Nice little beach across the bay. Dinner reservations are tough to get. They are as far as 30 days out. So, make them early. Parrish Kauai was great to work with to. Next time back, we will do it all over again.

Paradise

The home was a dream come true. From a gorgeous nautical themed living area, to the gigantic patio perfect for star-gazing, and the superbly comfortable bedrooms, this residence exceeded all of our expectations. The house was also steps away from a quiet beach that’s perfect for snorkeling in a sheltered bay. We saw 3 sea turtles living in the bay as well! The place was also squeaky clean when we arrived and it was truly a home away from home. We will definitely be back, probably with the rest of my family.

Honeymooners paradise!

WOW! Just WOW! Spinner dolphins in the morning and sea turtles at sunset. We stayed here for a full week in October for our honeymoon and LOVED everything about this place. What a gem! The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped for those few nights we stayed in. It was wonderful that we were able to buy fresh Ono and Mahi at the local fish market and grill it right at the house. We hung out and relaxed and enjoyed being newlyweds. It was phenomenal to see the giant sea turtles swimming around and napping on the beach in front, while we sipped on a delicious libation. We could even see the “Spouting Horn” from the lanai. The location is ideal in so many ways.It was great having that tiny marina and beach in front. Perfect for snorkeling and enjoying the sand and sun. We loved how we were able to walk to the Beach House restaurant for some delicious nibbles and mai-tais. We loved the spacious loft upstairs and enjoyed the calming breeze that flowed through. There was just so much to LOVE. We definitely will be coming back. Hopefully with a few friends next time, there is so much space!

The Near-Perfect Couples Getaway

I stayed at this property with two other couples as a sort of couples retreat. It was a fantastic property to do this at as it provided reasonable privacy for all three couples while also providing good meeting spaces, a great veranda, and an amazing view of the ocean. I say “near-perfect” because of a few minir things. For example, each bedroom had its pros and cons and the loft bedroom, while having the most space, had to utilize the basement bathroom. The rooms all were a bit hot and fans helped to make it more comfortable. Many windows were non-functional or only slightly functional. I also wished they had a hammock set up like the nearby house. Again, these were all minor details. Ultimately it was an amazing stay and the people with the Parrish Collection Kauai are all amazing people, super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at any of their properties.

I can’t say enough about Hale Moana , as it well exceeded all of our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. The place was in pristine condition with ample supply of basic needs except food. It was a perfect place for 7 of us adult family members to relax & unwind. It was located approx. 1 mile from all the tourist hustle & bustle & yet was just a short drive to anything we wanted to do. A beautiful beach was just steps away. I would definitely recommend Hale Moana to everyone who needs a house rental. You won’t be disappointed with this place.

Can you advise if this property has Air conditioning? Also is there a bedroom on the first floor?
Aloha Carol, This home does not have AC nor bedrooms on the first level. The living space and bedrooms are on the second level and the third has an open loft. Best vacation ever!

This is the most beautiful house right on the water. We have been back four times and would love to make it five. I would recommend and have recommended it to friends and family. They do a great job the house is so perfectly located is always very clear and well stocked. It is very home like we take our family and they are all ages and all have a wonderful time. We have also rented the house next door for friends it makes a great group vacation. We saw more turtles this year than ever.

House is super cute. awesome location

sound of waves crashing all day. see turtles in the waters from the property everyday. property management were professional, friendly, and easy to deal with. the house has pretty much everything you need for the beach (umbrellas, snorkels, beach chairs, etc) overall my experience was awesome. the only reason i gave it a four star was that there was construction next door and i had issues with parking because there’s a shared driveway that was constantly blocked and the the noise of construction was loud at times and since that property was under the same management, we thought they could’ve done a better job of being on top of the situation. wouldn’t of rented the property if we knew there was gonna be so much construction noise. i would ask about the construction before rental because there’s an empty lot for sale next door on the other side of the property and you never know when it will be sold and a house can be under construction while you’re there.

Great location, great house for families

We stayed at Hale Moana over Spring Break 2017, and would wholeheartedly recommend the house and especially the service provided by the Parrish Collection. There is plenty of room, we were a family of six. There are two bedrooms (1Q & 1K) on the main floor each with an adjoining bathroom, the loft has a King, there is a generous day bed and bathroom/laundry downstairs. Any teenager would be happy to call the downstairs area home as they can disappear when needed. While the loft does not have a bathroom on floor, we had our two boys up there and they ended up using the downstairs bathroom most of the time. The house is right on the water’s edge, enjoying unbelievable views over the ocean. It has everything you might need -- a gas grill, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, body boards, great selection of kitchen utensils. If we come back with the whole family again, we would definitely stay here. The more likely scenario is we will return sans children and will definitely utilize Parrish to find something a little smaller in the same general area. Great company to work with.

Hawaiian Dream House

My husband and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our daughter and her boyfriend rented the Hale Moana house for a week. This house is a dream! The house and the location are even more beautiful than the pictures shown on the Parrish Collection website. The majority of the rooms have ocean views and the sound of the surf. We even saw a sea turtle swim by as we were relaxing on the lanai. The house is right on Kukui’ula Bay, which has a small boat harbor and a small, uncrowded beach that is nice for swimming because the water is calm. There is a view of the Spouting Horn from the lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a nice grill on the large lanai, and there are several grocery stores in town so it is easy to cook meals. Poipu beach (which has great snorkeling) is a short drive away and there is plenty of parking there. The Parrish Collection was very professional and very helpful. All in all, we had a fabulous experience.

Amazing!

I see there hasn’t been a review for this property and Parrish Collection in a while, I wanted to change that! My husband and I plus my older mom and a friend all just returned from an amazing trip to Kauai. From day one the gals at Parrish took care of answering all of our questions, promptly. They took great care in helping to book our home rental as well as Pat booked all of our activities! Top notch service and top notch accommodations. The home was exactly as advertised! Exceeded Expectations!

Our experience with Parrish Properties was exceptional from beginning to end. The Hale Moana property exceeded our expectations -- the property is well managed and maintained. The pictures accurately portrayed the beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxing home. We had a family of 8 -- myself, my parents, my brother and his family -- including teens. We spent most of our time on the lanai looking at beautiful views of the pacific. We spotted whales and sea turtles throughout the week. We cooked many meals on the outdoor BBQ and the large dining room table was perfect for family meals. At the end of each day, we settled into large, comfortable beds -- and we eventually learned to appreciate the calls from the local roosters ???? Thank you very much for sharing your lovely home with our family!!

Relaxing and Beautiful

This house worked very well for our family of mother, 2 daughters with husbands, and two children under 5. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, isolated enough to feel totally private but convenient to beaches, shopping and dining. It had everything we needed for a week at the beach. The setting is spectacular; we enjoyed watching activity at the small harbor and seeing Spouting Horn from the deck. We would all love to stay there again.

Wonderful home on Kauai

The home was beautiful and the location fantastic. Bbq grill provided a great place to end day with dinner looking out at the ocean. Very close to good restaurants. Be aware that there is Golf Course construction going on behind you which does create some noise and dust but it does not detract from the experience.

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family of six spent a very relaxing week in this lovely oceanside home. The many windows and doors can be opened to the ocean breezes and sounds of the waves breaking in the backyard. It is attractively decorated and well furnished for cooking and barbecuing. There is a small protected swimming area a half block away and the botanical garden is a short walk. We would definitely return.

Excellent home with an excellent view

The home was tremendous and comfortable and easily housed the six of us. The upscale decor and excellent location made vacation enjoyable. The staff at Parrish Collection Kauai were incredibly helpful and kind and the fruit basket was such a treat after our long travels. Being cooped up in hotel rooms for nine days would have been frustrating. This house fulfilled all expectations and it was great to come “home” after exploring the island all day. The view off of the lanai was breathtaking and relaxing. My favorite sight was watching the Spouting Horn from the kitchen window while I worked in the kitchen. Canoe teams and sea turtles in the small harbor kept us entertained and who can complain of the rolling waves lulling you to sleep every night. Huge fans kept us comfortable along with the steady trade winds.

Kauaian Hospitality

Our 40th wedding anniversary was fast approaching, and we decided that a trip for the entire family to Kauai would be the best possible was to celebrate. Upon arrival, our stay at Hale Moana more than surpassed our expectations. The house was spotless upon entry and the furnishings lent to a warmth enjoyed by all; young and old. A minor problem arose with a shower faucet and the staff had it repaired within 2 hours of the phone call requesting help. Assistance and response to questions asked of the Parish Collection staff were promptly and politely addressed. We all enjoyed the location and would not hesitate rebooking for future aniticipated visits. A very inviting house

We stayed at Hale Moana for 10 days with another couple. The house is very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen and the location could not be more appealing. The views from the deck at sunset are breathtaking. The beach is a very short walk and about two hundred yards up the road is the famous “Spouting Horn” We highly recommend this house, it would also be a great place for children as well.
