Great view and location!
by Ross W.Overall great stay at Hale Ulili. Location right on water , beautiful views and three full bedrooms as advertised. Clean and compact kitchen and great deck/ lanai to enjoy the view from. Working with Parrish group was clear and well communicated. Some small improvements we would be more modern bathrooms and cleanup of one drain. Also note there is no A/c but breeze does blow through nicely on water and you have ceiling fans (very Hawai’i )

we were a grandfather, daughter son-in-law and two grandchildren ages 20 and 25. The location delighted everyone. In one week we did a large variety of activities. Unfortunately at the end I, the grandfather the flu, and due to Hawaiian air cancellations was forced to spend the night in the Lehue airport. As my wife is from Hawaii I come at least one time a year and would come back depending on the discount for returning visitors. Thank you for asking.
What a gorgeous view!
by RhondaThis is our first time staying on the south side of the island. We loved the location of the Hale Ulili. The home is a vintage home which we really loved. We always bring our binoculars and were delighted to see endless turtles and dolphins from the lanai. The view is epic from the lanai and we enjoyed our coffee and cocktails there. There are plenty of towels and linens. A previous guest mentioned "nature sounds" which was a complete shock to us and almost a deal breaker. We thought the roosters were annoying, but this was a different level! There were hundreds of parakeets that flew in from the south at exactly 6:15 p.m. that nested in the trees. It was very loud! They slept until 6:15 a.m. then flew off...sqauking the entire time! Maybe if you're into nature this might excite you, but as vacactioners, it was a bit too much! Kudos to PC for their professionalism and aloha! See you soon!

Beautiful oceanfront home
by Sonci B.Perfect size house for our family of 4, including teenagers. Ideal location on the mostly sunny south side of the island, but close to most of the island’s sites. We loved the large lawn right on the shoreline. We explored the beach previously mentioned in a review. Located at the end of the road, it’s a short hike to a beautiful secluded beach. Property management was attentive, but we had no issues. Fans are available if nature sounds get too loud.

Great location! Close to beaches, restaurants, shopping and activities. Big lawn along the shoreline to lounge or play a game of tag football. Management is very attentive and provides timely communication.
Kauai Sept 2023 Trip Report
by Dave W.Week one 9/12-19 we stayed at Hale Ulili, 3BR house near Lawai Beach on Lawai Rd. 5 Adults (4 Seniors and a 24 yr old). We are all life long Florida residents (AC is on 10 months a year at home) and we had no issues without AC. I am surprised actually as I questioned how comfortable it would be. Yes always running fans was needed but heat or humidity wasnt an issue, maybe the first night I had some trouble cooling down but beyond that slept normally. Hale Ulili as a place to spend time couldnt have been better. Direct Pacific waves breaking while lounging on a pretty large and lush back lawn, or the back deck was never dull. Watch the Spouting Horn blowholes from there. Something I would repeat. We rented through Parrish Kauai agency. We had a gas stove burner not working and they brought in a solution within about 2 hours. Great service from Parrish.

The location of the home was perfection. For the money, it was okay, but some basics really need updating. And we don’t believe that those updates should result in a huge increase in rental cost. We’ve been happy with Parrish for years now, and we will return but hope our comments help you with Hale Ulili’s marketing. Mahalo!

The Parish Collection was wonderful to rent from. The process was easy and straight forward. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and eating in. The beach supplies were an added bonus and really made our stay that much more enjoyable.

But the backyard on the rocky shore, the view of the coast and Spouting Horn in the distance with lovely sunsets and pleasant afternoons are priceless. The house is well appointed with the appliances you need to cook simple meals and we loved dining on the lanai visited by the local chickens. The property managers are attentive and they even bought a roasting pan so we could cook our Thanksgiving Turkey! Comfortable for 5. Six will work for families. I think 2 couples are the limit though. Well located within walking distance of 2 beaches plus a baby beach and lots of shopping nearby. We love Kauai and this was a great place for our family to come together. Mahalo and Aloha.

Awesome view and location
by LeighAnne B.The backyard view is unbeatable and house is in a great location - easy to get to shops and restaurants but have plenty of privacy. Sunsets from the backyard are amazing and we saw lots of turtles in the ocean right off the backyard. The interior of the house is a little rundown and could use some updates but it was an awesome place to stay and the view is incredible.
