This cottage was the perfect home base for our family vacation. Having separate rooms from the kids but great out door space was amazing. Perfectly equipped for all your vacation needs! The washer and dryer was amazing especially after beautiful hikes!

It has everything we needed! I was pleasantly surprised to find a first aid kit (luckily not needed, but good to know it’s there). The kitchen equipment and household appliances added to the convenience. Last but not least, the location was within walking distance to nearby attractions. It was a perfect home base. The communication was always clear and responsive and the household amenities added value to our stay. The place was spotless upon arrival and check in/check out was a breeze.

Everything You Need Plus Great Location
by Karen GThis home has air conditioning in all rooms and works wonderfully. We had everything we needed to enjoy the island and it is right on the walking path/greenbelt down to the ocean one way and to the Grand Hyatt the other way. We were 3 adults who enjoyed the comfortable beds and the house is decorated with a beach theme which is very nice and not overdone. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend!
PERFECT house
by Tom SullivanReally enjoyed this place. Very well equipped. Great location. Well maintained. Air conditioners have been upgraded to ductless splits, which is not shown in pics...... A big improvement over the units pictured. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect getaway for a family
by Lisa C.This was a very comfortable, well equipped and decorated cottage for our family of 4. We loved the 10 minute walk to both beaches, close drive to all the sites and yet quiet and private location.
Everything was comfortable and great management services with easy communication as needed. We would definitely stay there again .

Communication from the management company was great and easy - they were there if you needed anything but otherwise everything was ready to just start enjoying your vacation! Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for 7 nights and everything was great. The cottage is actually way better in person than the photos. It has two full bathrooms and two bedrooms on either side of the living/kitchen which makes it perfect to share. It’s also equipped with everything you might need for the beach. It was also about a 10 min walk from Poipu beach where the turtles rest on the beach every night- so it was so fun popping out to the beach multiple times during the day to see them. The living room and kitchen is basically one big room but it was really nice and comfy for us. The best part was sitting outside every morning on the back patio- while there were lots of other condos around the unit, the way the back is, it feels pretty private. The one thing we didn’t like was that the shades/curtains in the bedrooms looked like they were private, however are not and you could see totally though (we tested it)- so keep that in mind especially at night. Otherwise it was great and would rebook for sure!

Perfect location to just chill or to launch adventures

While it is not on the beach, the location is perfect to launch adventures whether they be a helicopter tour, snorkeling, beach sitting, or just being 'home'. This little bungalow was the perfect size and had the necessary amenities. Will definitely come back.

Family Vacation to Kauai
by Hannah H.The "cottage" was just the right size for our family of 4. Having 2 full bathrooms was a luxury with a teen and a tween. The outdoor space in the back was small but private, perfect for coffee in the mornings, alone : ) There were plenty of beach umbrellas and chairs in the garage to borrow, as well as a wagon to haul your gear and a small cooler. Overall, there was nothing we didn't have or want between what we brought and what the home provided. Will look at renting the other small cottages nearby for a larger family vacation in the future!

House was in a perfect location. Easy walking to two different types of beaches in both directions. Loved having access to a grill after we wld pick up fresh fish from a local market. Everything was as shown in the pictures. We wld stay here again.

Sugar Mill Cottage Poipu Kauai
by Richard W.Cottage was great for our Kauai vacation. Loved our location just a 5 to 10 minute walk to Poipu beach. We had a 8 night stay and enjoyed every minute of it. We traveled the entire island in our rental car and spent most of our time near the cottage. Was common to see large sea turtles and seals at Poipu beach. Lots of dining options. The cottage has surf board, boogie board, chairs, shade umbrellas, and a cart to carry them in. The cottage was perfect size for our party of 4. Would not recommend for a larger group.
