Couldn’t ask for a better view!

The view off of the balcony was breathtakingly beautiful! I don’t think the pictures did it justice. The condo was modern and clean, the location was perfect- just a short drive to restaurants, beaches, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Breathtaking location to chill and watch Honu

Lanai views are outstanding, with turtles dancing in the surf at breakfast and lunch. Beach chairs and boogie boards were well used but appreciated. A quick walk to Brennecke beach for the waves or Poipu beach to snorkel. Or could walk to shipwreck beach and many trail options. Lots of fans helped to bring the trade winds inside. Pool is small but nice for a quick dip.

Absolutely perfect!

crashing every night, sunsets and sunrises like a magazine cover. Every time you look into the ocean, turtles. Stunning and everything you need. 3 minute drive to dining and multiple beaches. Will be back again!

Great Condo

This condo worked out perfectly. It looked great just like the online photos and the oceanfront location was beautiful and convenient. We loved watching the turtles from the lanai every day and there were great beaches just a short walk away. The communication from Parrish Kauai was excellent. The only thing we wished we had were a few staples for the kitchen. There were no spices, oil or condiments, but there were plenty of dishes and cookware. We would stay again!

Amazing vacation

This was our first trip to Kauai and we absolutely loved it and will for sure be back. The condo was perfect and in the best location for us. The views of the water and then seeing whales, dolphins and sea turtle made it a very special time for us. Thank you!!!

Location is EVERYTHING

We loved our stay in Poipu and this condo met all our needs. The oceanfront linea is spectacular…. Loved hearing waves throughout the day, the sunsets were awesome and the whale spotting was super fun! This unit is a short 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach and our fave restaurant, Brennecke’s Beach Broiler. There are also incredible trails along the ocean leading up to the Grand Hyatt which became my daily run. Loved it and would return.

No air conditioning. Pool and deck area unusable for most of our stay.

Aloha Vashti.  We do want to point out that we do not advertise this unit as having air conditioning and that you did sign the acknowledgment that you reviewed the listing on that specific detail.  We apologize for the pool deck work.  The condo association assured us that a portion of the pool deck would always remain open for our guests and that it was to be completed before your arrival.  The project was delayed and we are sorry it impacted part of your stay.

Awesome Ocean View

The lanai with its oceanfront view is the big draw of this unique and small condo. We always enjoy spending time watching the sea turtles, monk seals, dolphins, birds, and human-powered boats cruise by. The small pool and its wonderful upgraded oceanfront deck is another great spot to hang out. One of the things we love about Poipu Palms is it’s a small property, intimate. Location is key here: only 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to world-class Poipu Beach Park, close to restaurants, and walking distance to Shipwrecks Beach. The condo was well appointed with tasteful art and decor and a nicely remodeled kitchen and new appliances (although the oven knob indicators were worn off so it was hard to know which burner was set and what setting it was at). Beds and sofas and chairs were comfortable. Another plus: the unit is easy access from the street parking, with just a couple steps. The big downside was the ventilation. Other reviews mention this too. There are lots of fans in the condo, but the airflow is limited (especially in the master bedroom) and complicated by the fact the windows on the east side of the place (especially the bedroom again) were very difficult to open. A small air conditioning unit in that bedroom would be a big help. Regardless, I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the Poipu area.

It’s an amazing condo and location. We so enjoyed our stay. It’s true to the pictures and the little touches truly makes this an amazing vacation spot. It’s close to so many things on the south shore, makes a great locale for many different adventures on the island. Just be aware, if your neighbors above you have heavy feet, you could be serenaded especially at night.

This unit is absolutely phenomenal. It is well furnished, well maintained, very comfortable and offers great views of the ocean. I wish we stayed longer. The host was easily reachable and quick to answer any questions. The pictures in the posting offer a very accurate representation of the unit.

Parrish's place is beyond expectation. The view is breathtaking and decoration in the unit is unique. Right on the cliffs by the sea, we literally see turtles swimming in there every morning we wake up. Host provided beach equipment including umbrella, beach chairs, towels and a bunch of toys for kids. The Poipu beach is 3mins drive away - we went there 2 times during our 4 night stay to do some snorkeling and it was one of the best snorkeling experience! I never thought I'll had a large sea turtle swim with me on the side! A few minor cons one may consider: - depends on what season you come, the wind and wave may be strong and hardly stop. It didn't bother me (I like white noise) but some friends in my group found it a bit difficult to sleep. - not sure if it's us forgot to close screen door from the lanai - we found some bugs flying in the apartment during the first night of our stay. It got better after the first night. Overall we still loved Parrish's place. Will definitely come back if we visit Kauai again.

Lovely location and property

Great location to explore the beautiful island of Kauai. Well appointed and clean condo, very well managed property, and the communication with the property managers was timely and efficient when needed. Not having AC was known but was something we actually wished we had at times when humidity was very high and it was hard to get indoor temp lowered due to lack of windows in a cross breeze configuration. Some of the windows were impossible to open and one bathroom window was missing a screen so we didn't use it to avoid bugs coming in.

Pros 1. Stunning location, beautiful views from the living room and kitchen. 2. Well equipped. Cons 1. No air conditioning. It gets very hot inside the apartment. Even though we thoroughly loved the place and our stay, the heat at times was unbearable. 2. They made me sign some forms outside of Airbnb to confirm the reservation which I was not thrilled about. Having said that, I encountered no problems whatsoever during our stay. Smooth check in and check out. Responsive host.

Family getaway

We had an absolutely awesome time at Poipu Palms #203 and would highly recommend this location and unit! It was a tropical paradise and was, by far, an exceptional family vacation after 2 years with no vacation. The location to such beautiful beaches, local restaurants, stores, etc. was perfect. Our teenagers (13 and 14) are ready to plan another visit as well as Mom & Dad! 🙂 Perk for this site is it is a small place (only 12 condos total) compared to nearby huge resorts - liked the friendly environment with other condo guests.

Great place. Easy location to get around. Close to Shipwreck beach (walkable) and nearby trail. Common area pool is like a private pool right on the crashing waves. Amazing ocean view - saw up to 7 turtles floating in the ocean outside the unit everyday. Place was fresh and clean.

A Week In Paradise

Usually we travel alone, but this time we traveled with wife’s sister and husband on their 1st trip to Kauai. This property was near perfect. We wanted a clean, comfortable, 2 bedroom condo with a great ocean view. Also, we wanted easy access to beach activities and to tour best of island’s sightseeing. That’s exactly what we got.

Fabulous in every way!

Poipu Palms unit 203 was a fabulous place to stay with unbelievably amazing views! We could have sat on the lanai all day! We watched beautiful sunsets and tons of whales and dolphins jumping right in front of the lanai! It was so hard to leave! The unit was beautiful and extremely clean! Highly recommend this unit!

Beautiful stay at Poipu

The condo was very nice and the views and sound of the ocean were wonderful. There was unplanned maintenance that disturbed our stay but the property manager was very responsive and did what they could to address the situation. We would definitely rent from Parish Properties again.

Amazing view! Great space for our family.

Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms to get us started. We were able to watch the sunset, see turtles and whales from the lanai. The beds were very comfortable and the living space was as well. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Great location

Fantastic views. Lanai is right on the ocean! Great pool and deck area. Condo is great. It is a 2 bedroom but it was perfect for just the 2 of us. The kitchen is small but everything worked great. It was very clean. The bathrooms do need updating otherwise everything was great

Awesome Getaway Condo with Stunning Views

My wife and I had been to Kauai before and stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in an oceanfront room near Kapaa, on the Eastern Side of Kauai. The Courtyard was a nice property and the room proximity to the oceanfront was also very nice. However, as we planned to go back to Kauai this time we were seeking a different kind of experience, a.) we wanted to stay on a different part of the island (southern which supposedly gets more sunshine vs. eastern side), and b.) to try a condo or apartment experience (which we had never done before) versus a hotel. We went thru the Parrish Collection and rented Poipu Palms condo #203 for 7 nights, from May 19-26. Parrish was great to work with and we booked on their website and keys and driving instructions to the Condo were waiting for us at the rental car counter when we landed at the airport. It was about a 40 minute drive to the Condo which was in Poipu. When we walked in the views were absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the ocean below from the back of the condo/lanai ! It was 2 bed, 2 bath (great to have two separate bathrooms for my wife and I), and Parrish provides many of the essentials like laundry soap, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. The condo comes complete with cookware, glasses, dishes, towels, iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner. The condo complex only has 12 units; parking is ample and free and in a quiet area with no noise. From there we walked to different beaches every night to watch the sunsets and over the beautiful grounds of the Hyatt Regency (a 10 min walk away) -- which, with their amazing grounds -- especially at night -- is like a tropical palacy. We found ourselves spending a lot of time on the large balcony of this condo just watching the ocean and turtles and sometimes dolphins below. It was very laid-back. We also bought food at Costco (30 mins drive away) and ‘Big Save’ supermarket in Koloa (5 mins away) and making all our meal ourselves. I would highly recommend this condo which was comparable when you add everything up to what you would pay at the Marriott Courtyard we stayed at on the other side of the island. After staying at hotels and now a condo -- we will always go condo when we can in the future!!! This condo is great for couples, or couples with 1-2 younger children.

Beautiful view and great location

We loved our stay at Poipu Palms 203 — the view from the lanai was wonderful, we saw sea turtles every day. It’s a short walk to Brennecke’s beach and very close to the rest of Poipu. Furnishings were high quality, the beds were very comfortable. No air conditioning, but we had a very nice breeze. We also enjoyed the pool at the complex which had an incredible ocean view as well. One piece of advice, if you plan on cooking any meals, be aware that you need to bring/buy all of your own food products (including salt & pepper). The kitchen is well equipped with the necessary pots/pans for most requirements. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely stay there again!

The ultimate vacation

This was our second stay at this condo,and again by far the best time of our life. We come with alarge group , 4 condos here last year, 3 this year.All 4 are beautiful, well maintained,and we feel very secure here.we are very close to everything that we like to do. The whales were going crazy right out in front of our condo all week. The whale tours were in front of our condo all week. Last trip Tunnels beach was the ultimate day of my family’s whole life, this time the secret beach a mile away was awesome. We are alarge group that love to have lots of fun, colorado river fun, boating, desert off roading, san diego beach fun, we are always having fun, but there is no other place we would rather be then right here in Poipu,at these condos. Fantastic views with sunsets!

What a surprise!!

Talk about a great place to stay… We went to sleep listening to the crashing waves and woke up to the same! Located right in between great snorkeling and beautiful beaches, you couldnt ask for more. I was a little reluctant to stay at a rental for our honeymoon, but we couldnt have asked for better. By the end of our two weeks the condo was home to us, and the great people at the Parrish Collection helped us make it one of our best vacations. Take thier reccomendations for tours etc…, they wont steer you wrong.

Great location and views

The unit is in the drier, sunnier Poipu area. It’s not right on the beach, but a 5-10 minute walk along the road will get you to Brenneke’s and Poipu Beach. The condo itself isn’t huge, but it was big enough for our family of four. Everything was in great shape and clean. The interior doors have louvered slats, so noise can carry from room to room -- this might be a consideration if a baby or toddler needs to take a nap. My favorite feature of this unit is the deck. It overlooks the small swimming pool, the rocks below and the wide ocean. One day I took a photo with a pod of dolphins near the shore and a whale spouting in the background! The sunsets are beautiful right from the deck too.
