Great location, less than 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach. Spacious upstairs living space with roomy balcony/lanai that has a slight view of the ocean and nice sunsets. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. No air conditioning, but several fans- so need to open windows for ocean breezes. Some beach chairs, towels and beach toys for your use. Washer/Dryer is in hallway closet downstairs. Really enjoyable stay. Older unit, relaxing and comfy, not posh. Parrish Property Management is very responsive to calls. Only issue is that there needs to be more lamps/lighting upstairs in the dining area. It was extremely dark there. Also, this unit and its parking lot are really adjacent to Nalo Street, and that is how you access them. It's confusing that the address is Ho'one Rd.

This place was great for many things, walking distance to the beach, a well equipped kitchen, and a comfortable and rather large space with a view of the ocean and sunsets. A few limitations too, there is no actual washer and dryer present, and the place is not optimally maintained, of note there were several poorly functioning screen doors, one of which was actually falling out of its tracks, and there was no attempt to fix this during our week stay. The curtains were torn in some places and not opening and closing easily. Aside from these shortcomings, it still gets a good rating but with room for improvement.

The location was great. Really nice to be able to walk to the beach and local restaurants. The condo was nice, but could use some updates.

A great stay! The pictures do not do the unit justice. It’s very big and the grounds were beautiful. Pool was amazing and the view of the ocean was great. The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we would need for cooking. Only negative thing is there is no A/C and it did get quite hot. A portable A/C for the bedrooms would do wonders

overall the property was fine. Some issues were: The unit is very outdated. They do not clean the unit well at all. The cabinet knobs were all nasty sticky. Underneath the couch was very dirty with large pieces of waste. They should move the furniture when cleaning, it was obvious they didnt. Front door was not secure. When the front door is locked, one can still easily turn the doorknob and come in.

Paperwork said there would be a safe in the room and we looked everywhere for it. There was not one It was very hot when we arrived and no air conditioning. Need fans upstairs and down, we had to carry them up and down the stairs. The beds were comfortable.

Spacious condo, great location
by Bethany H.We enjoyed our stay at Nihi Kai #705. The unit was quite spacious, and the location is fantastic. Easy walking to beaches, and short drives to restaurants and shopping. In the unit itself, the furniture and fixtures are dated, and we had some trouble with the toilets. Management was responsive, but the fixtures are just old and there wasn't much to be done. The beds were comfortable, but the slatted doors meant there wasn't much privacy. The kitchen had most things we needed, however the microwave was very small, and seemed old - it did work though. Overall it was fine, but with compromises.

Nice property
by Rachael W.The do not clean properly. The fridge was extremely dirty on the front of it. No air conditioning. Blood on the hid a bed mattress and they just flipped cushions around to not see stains. For the amount we paid to stay there it was a cheaper property on the island I would stay there again. It was at a beautiful location and the property managers were very nice . I really enjoyed my stay there except those few things that are fixable.

This is the first we are hearing of any housekeeping issues for your stay. We would have sent our cleaners back to assist you had you just let us know. We even asked via text message if everything was okay shortly after your arrival and you did not respond. We will be sure to inspect the sleeper sofa mattress and make a replacement if needed. A perfect place in the middle of paradise
by Vahe A.We are a family of four making our very first visit to Kauai. After reading tons of online opinions we decided to stay on the South. We 'stumbled upon' this property and were pleasantly surprised by everything - from amenities, to floor plan and even the water pressure. All professionally managed. That said, I wanted to especially single out the location - it's in walking distance from the best beach on the island (based on our own research) for snorkeling. It has an amazing spot where migrating sea turtles come out to rest - during the day there are several, but as sun sets more and more come out. One day we counted 45+ turtles! Unbelievable experience! The rest of the beach is calm and shallow and great for families with kids. Highly recommended!
Great location
by Michele Q.The condo is very dated but worked well for us. There is no AC but if you have the ceiling fans on and the windows open it wasn’t too hot. Honestly the only time we were there was to sleep. Beautiful location, great view. You can walk to the beach and food within a few minutes.
