Honu Kai Villa #2

We loved our one week stay at Honu Kai! The accommodations were perfect and the personal touches the owners did made us feel welcome. The ocean front location was beautiful and it was just a few minutes to two swimmable beaches. We were able to access other island locations easily (30-60 minutes drive). Our family had a wonderful experience and hope to return again!

What a great place. Pretty amazing views for sunset and proximity to Rocky Shoreline; short walk to nearby Brenneke's Beach for boogie boarding if you have a little bit of skill.The only (minimal) confusion was at check-in; there was a redundant method of access that caused a few minutes of confusion.The condo is two levels, great rooms, two great bathrooms. Air-conditioning amazing.

This Condo was wonderful. It has fantastic views and is short walk to Brennekes for morning pastry from 7am to 10am Monday-Friday. There is close snorkel rentals and a short drive to Little Fish for coffee or sandwiches. The only grocery worth going to is in Koloa Town. Don't bother with any other. Everything you need is there. Very relaxing. Will go there again, hosts very helpful.

I booked this for my eight year-old son, my husband and my elderly mom. The location was absolutely amazing as my husband and son would walk outside and in two minutes they were surfing on their waves with their boogie boards. It’s close and walking distance to poopy beach to see the Greene turtles in the evening at Sunset. It was the perfect place for us and we would love to stay again in the future. Parking was easy. And there was a nice little hot tub to relaxing in the evenings. Kitchen is nice and clean. And they even had a boogie boards that we could borrow. This place was one of the highlights of our trip.

Beautiful, safe, and clean place to stay in poipu beach with an incredible view. The pictures don’t do enough justice. The view of the ocean from the living room and the master bedroom is worth the stay by itself. You can catch sunsets from the bedroom every day or by stepping out on to the road in front. When we stayed, I could see the turtles feeding right in front of this unit every morning around 7-730am. Poipu beach is only a 7 minute walk. Great place to stay for families. The kitchen was functional and stocked with necessities. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling masks were provided. Fully functional in unit washer and dryer. WiFi had issues but the landlord got it fixed as soon as we notified. Landlord responds quickly and is very helpful. It is in a quiet location without a lot of traffic but with quick and easy access to all the South side beaches and towns.

Had another great vacation in Poipu! This villa is clean, well stocked and quiet! Only 4 villas on the property. Very short walk to the beach. My only complaint is I like to unpack for a long stay and there are not any dressers or TVs in the bedrooms. Will definitely visit again.

We were fortunate to find the home just 2 months before our arrival. The location was fantastic and the view stunning. We walked to the beach and they had chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for us to use. The waves were huge which our kids loved! And the turtles arrived at the beach most evenings. We hope to return.

We loved our stay at this VRBO. The location and space were both excellent. The management company checked in with us periodically which was great. The only reason I gave 4/5 on check in was we got there at 4 pm, and had to wait 5-10 minutes for the cleaning to be completed. Not a huge deal as the place was very clean when we entered and well stocked. I would highly recommend.

The location if the place is great - very close to the beach. Kids really enjoyed the time here. We did have lots of tiny ants in kitchen and a large bug in master bath. We reported this to the management company and they are going to supplement their quarterly pest treatment. It is a tropical climate so I am sure that is not unusual. We had a lot of construction noise because the adjoining townhouse was doing a complete window and door replacement. This of course is not the fault of the owner. They were very accommodating in terms of crediting us for the inconvenience but a bit slow to respond. Overall, it is a nice place and great location. .

This villa was all we dreamed it would be and more! There were a few things that needed attention, but Jeremy l, the property manager, was prompt about addressing everything. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Honu Kai Villa 2. The views from the upstairs deck and the family room were wonderful. The condo is in a great location to easily walk to Poipu Beach and to local restaurants. We walked to Shipwreck\'s Beach easily and also to the The Shops at Kukui‘ula.The condo was well stocked with kitchen supplies. In addition, the bedding and pillows were top notch, which is really important to ensure the guests have a pleasant nights sleep. Wonderful location and lovely condo. Thank you!

The view, especially at sunset, is stunning and beach and restaurants a close walk away. Kristen, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. And having A/C is rare and a real plus, as is the pool that is nearly always vacant, like your own private one, just steps out the door. You can also barbecue right on your own deck.

We loved the location. The views were gorgeous and the proximity to the beach excellent. We loved seeing the sea turtles come to the beach each night as we watched the sun set. The pool and hot tub came in handy and were well kept. The villa was spacious and very well stocked.

We had a beautiful stay in Kauai. The condo’s location could not be more perfect. A very short easy walk to Poipu Beach ( literally across street) . The vibe was a friendly beach neighborhood, where everyone came out at sunset, greeted everyone as friends and celebrated with drinks at Brennekes afterwards! The condo was decorated nicely and well equipped with everything you need for a weeks stay or more. If there was only one complaint which was no fault to the owner…. The previous guests were a bit messy and cleaning crew were still in our condo when we arrived. We felt that are cleaning was a lil lacking but again…. No fault to the owner and we had a wonderful stay!

Second time staying at this Villa. First: Location, location, location. It just couldn't be better. The space is well-laid out, everything is clean and organized. We had everything we needed. Looking forward to next time...

We stayed at this property during our first time visit in Hawaii. The apartment was in great location, walkable distance to the Poipu Beach where we walked each evening to look at the beautiful turtles basking at the sand. In the morning we would have a coffee in the quiet and private garden. The house was comfortable for a family stay, clean, spacious, had great ocean views. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place! It’s an oasis where you can relax, but at the same time be close to numerous Kauai attractions.

We stayed with our 10 year old grandson. The property was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The parking space was a bonus. We enjoyed the 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Our grandson took advantage of the boogie boards on the property. Provided beach towels were appreciated. Will definitely return!

This property is a beautiful beach house right on the shores of Poipu beach. It is very clean and beautifully decorated, It is well stocked with everything that you will need in the kitchen and on the beach. Every morning we had our coffee on the lanai, watching whales, surfers and spinner dolphins right. Every evening we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets right off of our upper lanai. Beautiful views from every room and a small pool that our family enjoyed after a long hot day on the island. AC works well and was very appreciated. Very responsive staff and thank you Kristen for the extra supplies and for providing us same-day replacement of the coffee machine that stopped working one morning-on New Year's Day no less! This is a beautiful property that you will never want to leave. We hope to be back one day soon. Mahalo=XO

This property was wonderful, so close to Poipu and Brennecke beaches. The view from the upstairs and downstairs was so beautiful, including sunsets. The property was well maintained will many extras that just made for the perfect property. Including back chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrellas and ice chest! The property management team was wonderful always providing fast and detailed information. We will definitely come back on our next poipu adventure

This is a great townhouse with beautiful views of the ocean. It is a stones throw from a spectacular boogie boarding beach and just a short walk to family friendly poipu beach. The rental was clean and well stocked. Parking is right by the door. Pool is clean and better than pictures although it is small. Great restaurants nearby. Hosts are helpful and gracious. You can see turtles from the balcony. This is an amazing g place to stay?

We had a great time! A family of 5 (3 teenagers). This place is walkable to the beaches and some food/shopping! It is a few minutes drive to lots of other food and shopping areas. You can sit out on the patio with privacy from the public and enjoy your coffee or read a book while enjoying the ocean view! Great sunsets! Lots of toys offered - snorkel gear, boogie boards, as well as some board games and books. Washer a dryer was great and the fully equipped kitchen made breakfast easy every morning. We did our main grocery shopping at the Walmart close to the airport. The only negative was that there was a daybed in the master bedroom and a futon in the room with the twin beds. We ended moving the futon downstairs for my son to use. Otherwise, great space for us.

I came here with my husband and two college age sons. We loved it. The place was very spacious with a large kitchen and den as well as a large master bathroom and bath and a large second bedroom with two twin beds and an even bigger second bathroom. The house was across a small street from the ocean and had unobstructed views of it. There was a patio with super comfy chairs where I read in the mornings while listening to the ocean. The towels provided were soft. The was a full size washer and dryer (a necessity) on the first floor with laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided. Kitchen dishes, cutlery, larger utensils, pots, pans, bowls, cutting board and cutting knives were all provided. We were able to prepare full meals easily. The cutting knives were sharp - I had no trouble cutting up pineapples. The beach was about 100 yards from the house and easy to walk to. The town house was in a beautiful neighborhood with upscale homes and minutes away from shopping dining and entertainment. Beach towels were provided which was a huge plus for us.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here before moving along to the next part of our trip. Wish we could stay longer! Great space, and amazing location walkable to a beautiful beach that was perfect for kids to boogie board and play!

This place is fantastic. We were in Kaua'i for a wedding and needed a place near Poipu Beach Park. We had our toddler with us and it was perfect for her - nice and safe, lots of things to explore, and the pool was great for her as well. Easy parking for our rental car and we were able to walk to Poipu beach. My dad joined us from O'ahu and he had a great time as well. We loved the big kitchen with the bar seating! The folks at Destination Kaua'i are super friendly and communicated quickly with us when we had questions. We would recommend this place for anyone with a family.

Everything was just perfect! The location was great for our wedding at shipwreck cliffs. We would happily stay with this host again.

Excellent location! Condo had everything we needed. The property was nice Ann clean. The cushions on the patio chairs need to be replaced but not a big deal. We had an issue with the screen door which we communicated to property manager they had it fixed right away. Would highly recommend this condo we would rent again.

Hanu Kai Villas was a great location for our Kauai vacation. It was so nice to see the ocean from the bedroom and living room and hear the waves at night. The condo has everything you need for your beach vacation including chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart, etc. and we were very impressed with the amenities. It’s an easy walk to the beach and drive to all the local restaurants and shops. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This villa was spacious, clean, updated, well stocked, and comfortable. It is an excellent location with a quick walk to Brenneckes Beach and Poipu Beach Park. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Pictures do not do the location justice. The place is steps away from the ocean. We left the master bedroom window open at night & were serenaded to sleep by the crashing wave sounds. Though not inexpensive, this townhouse is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Located in a quiet high-end neighborhood. We loved seeing folks walking early in the morning & through the day from house. My wife searched property prices & to our shock found that, like property’s sold for over two million! Great location, would highly recommend. No issues with anything in the house, hotel like experience! Only regret, is not staying long enough!

This is the perfect place to get away to Kauai and stay right near the beaches of Poipu. This condo in super new, clean and very well laid out and it’s in a perfect location. All the amenities were nice and in great working order including lots of extras needed for beach fun. Pool/hot tub was an added extra we enjoyed after long days at the beach. Management was very well connected and helpful and check in/out was a breeze. We would certainly stay here again and encourage anyone who wants a great, relaxing beach vacation to book this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very comfortable and we couldn’t get enough of the views - we would frequently spot turtles from the lanai and stargaze at night. The space was perfect for our family of three with a 2 year old and we could definitely grow into the space with another child. The pool is only so-so. In the end, this wasn’t a big deal for us because poipu beach (which is perfect for kids) was only a very short walk away and we spent most of our time there. Overall, we loved this place and hope to return!

We had a lovely stay at Honu Kai villas. The views from the condo are amazing and you\'re literally steps away from Brennacke and Poipu beaches. The location was so convenient. Every night we were able to watch the sun set right from the back patio and every day we merely crossed the street to watch the turtles surf the waves. The condo was the perfect size for our family of four and was very well equipped - they even have beach chairs and a cooler for trips to the beach. The pool was a lovely little enclave for our kids who had it all to themselves during our stay. We would definitely stay again.

This place was a dream. Perfect location, an easy stroll from so many great beaches. Great setup for our family of 5 with all the amenities we could ask for. Pool was great for kids and shaded in the afternoon. So many beach toys and snorkels and chairs and balls. Easy check in and check out. And of course falling asleep to crashing waves every night was perfection. Can’t wait to get back to this place!

What a fabulous property with breathtaking view of ocean! Also extremely convenient to beach and even food within walking distance. There is a restaurant snack bar and beach about 5 minute walk from property. The beach also is a great site for turtles and fabulous view of sunset. I enjoyed going to sleep and waking up to the ocean waves. Need to be careful as the ocean swells were very high one night that it washed into the road causing debris. But that happens when you live close to the shore. The property was excellent with modern appliances including washer/dryer. Very roomy and Poipu location was great central location for Waimea canyon and Lihue activities.

This place is a gem. We greatly appreciated the professionalism and quick communication regarding our booking, the beauty of the place, gorgeous furnishings and excellent, plentiful supplies. Most everything you need, is there, which makes for a really pleasant stay! The ocean is right in front we adored the views. The pool is fantastic as well as the hot tub and we had it pretty much to ourselves, since it is only shared with a few other villas. We loved the light, the layout, the aesthetic and care with which this place was set up. The patio is a great place to be as well as the upper balcony with great views of the rushing waves. It feels as though this place was recently renovated and also well maintained. The bed was great to sleep on! The beaches were right there and it was a beautiful walk to Poipu beach (7 mins for us). Very grateful to have stayed here!

We stayed at this condo for a little over a week. It was wonderful. Our group included me and my husband, mother-in-law, and two kids. The space worked great for our family. (MIL didn’t mind sleeping in the room with kiddos.) the view is amazing and there is access to great beaches within short walking distance — beaches included protected area for young ones and snorkeling. The condo (which felt like a house) had everything we needed for beach excursions—chairs, toys, snorkel gear, water shoes and fins of various sizes, beach umbrella, etc.. We brought nothing with us and had everything we needed for beach days with kids. The owners are incredibly responsive, even showing up with a beach cooler within a couple of hours when we couldn’t find the one we thought would be at the house. The house is well decorated and comfortable. You can watch the waves from the living room lania and the sea turtles floating in the cove out front from the bedroom lanai. Truly exceptional!

Christmas to New Years Property was a great location and property manager was responsive. Other than the couple of days of rain and thunderstorms trip was great.

We loved staying in this home. We saw sea turtles all over the place, from the cove right across the street to snorkeling that was a 10 minute drive away. It was a great home base with comfortable accommodations.

Great being able to fall asleep and wake up to the crashing waves. The best white noise there is.

We loved our time at the Villa! It is better than the photos and just beautiful. The beaches are just a few minutes’ walk and bring oceanfront and hearing the waves at night was wonderful. We had our three young kids with us and the layout of the unit was perfect for our family, they loved the pool and all the beach toys/chair boogie board were a big plus! We would definitely stay here again.

We looked at dozens of vacation rentals on Kauai on VRBO and AirB&B and chose this property based on its location and description and we absolutely think we made the best choice possible. The location is absolutely ideal! It is literally across the street from the ocean and has a spectacular view from the lanai, including a view of the sunset. It is a 3 minute walk to Brennecke Beach (excellent for surfers, small beach, pretty rough/wild surf) and a 7 minute walk to the wonderful Poipu Beach (superb for snorkeling, and also an area good for children or people who are not strong swimmers). There are excellent restaurants nearby, especially the Beach House. We also enjoyed Keoki's Paradise, in the Poipu Village Shopping Center (touristy, but fun atmosphere and very good food). Also recommend Living Foods at the Shops at Kukui'ula. The 2 bedroom villa is everything we hoped for. A master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balcony with a view of the beach and a large and comfortable 2nd bedroom with full bath in the hall on the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and soft. The kitchen is well stocked with good pans for cooking and plenty of dishes and silverware. The living room area is cozy with comfortable seating. And the lanai and garden has a small table with 2 chairs and a very comfortable outdoor sofa for watching the sunset. There is a weber gas grill. There are several lightweight beach chairs, an excellent beach umbrella and a few beach accessories. The host's description is very accurate. I cannot emphasize enough what an excellent location this is - if you are interested in staying on the south shore - and an ideal property for a small group (I was with my husband and mother-in-law).

This extremely well-appointed condo couldn't have been in a better location -- a three-minute walk from Brennecke Beach and a seven-minute walk from Poipu Beach, yet sufficiently far from the crowds that noise was virtually non-existsent -- and well within a five-minute drive to shops and markets. We (my wife and I, plus two close friends) spent a wonderful eight days here as a perfect jumping off spot for island activities (scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking the Waimea Canyon and Kalalau [Napali coast] trails, visiting the nearby botanical gardens, etc.), as well as daily happy hours on the patio overlooking the waves crashing on the ancient lava as the sun went down. Very highly recommended as the perfect getaway spot, and checking in and out could not have been easier.

If you want a relaxing trip far away from the crowds yet steps away from Poipu and Brennecke’s Beach, then this is the place to stay.

This condo was amazing. A GREAT location. Wonderful views and you could walk to several beaches. The closest beach is full of young kids and boogie boards, and if you go a little further there are several beaches that are less crowded and calmer. Turtles right outside the condo in the breakwater all day long and plenty of sea life coming to shore in the early evenings. The condo was very comfortable. Plenty of space for our family. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils. Refrig is a little small, but was not really an issue. We used the A/C a fair amount, it was quite warm when we were there, and it worked great and cooled the condo down. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well. If you book you will not be disappointed.

Great location walkable to Po’ipu Beach. Close to the airport (<25 minutes). Midway to any other island destinations you may want to venture to. Didn’t have to deal with the landslide that impacted Princeville. Be sure to do the Po’ipu Beach Hike - amazing hike right beside the condo. Really glad we picked this location on the island.

Cleanliness was absent. Cleaning crew was there when we arrived and didn’t leave until 4pm (check in is 3pm). I don’t know what they actually cleaned. Location is great, view of the ocean is lovely and the sunsets are gorgeous.

First, this unit is very spacious with an excellent layout for two couples. The two bedrooms, which are on the second floor, are large, each with good access to a full bath. The main floor has a large living/dining / kitchen area and a half bath. The laundry is also in a closet on main level. There\'s a small lanai off the living area with a beautiful ocean view. We were close enough to hear the waves. It's an easy walk to both Brennecke\'s and Poipu beaches and a lovely ocean front park. The unit's location is perfect for accessing restaurants, shops and all the popular Kauai sites! HOWEVER, it's an old building without adequate electrical upgrading. The AC is not central, but basically consists of 3 awkward floor standing units with large hoses to the outside. The main floor unit would only run for a minute or two before blowing its circuit breaker. Units are very loud. We would pick between a stifling hot living room (facing west) or a hot bedroom above it. Electrical outlets are few and hard to access. Choose between watching TV or charging a device. The windows are not operable; they've been painted over and over. Need to be replaced. IF the windows had worked, the AC problem might have been more tolerable . The unit has many small throw rugs which need to be washed, cleaned or just thrown away. The kitchen appliances and counters were just plain dirty and sticky. There were no cleaning supplies so we needed to purchase some to be able to use the kitchen. AND there were no replacement light bulbs to put in place of the many burned out ones. The larger oceanfront bedroom basically had no light at night at all. The deficits of this property were considerable! And that's a shame because general maintenance and regular deep cleaning would make this an ideal Poipu Beach area rental! So sad!

We were very impressed with the property. The views from the lanai and the balcony were spectacular. Nicely furnished and very clean. The spices left in the cabinet were very helpful. We also appreciated the beach chairs, etc. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

This little gem is tucked into the corner and overlooks both a sweet section of ocean and a well traveled road with many joggers and walkers headed to the beach. While not intrusive because of a fence it\'s fun to watch people strolling by. The kitchen is super well equipped, my girls prepared a gourmet Christmas dinner with ease. The furnishings are comfortable though the mattresses in the second bedroom are more suitable for kids than adults. We had a few snafus and Lisa (the owner) and Leslie (property manager) could not have been more responsive. Super impressed.

Property was great! Bathrooms remodeled and super nice. Thank goodness for ac units because it was hot and humid during our stay. We used grill almost every night to cook and enjoyed sitting on the deck as the sun went down. Location is great. Short walk to great beaches. Could see sea turtles from dry reef right by property. Nice property, quiet in the heart of Poipu beach Excellent property and owner

Always enjoy staying at the Villas. It's such a great location. August is not our usual month so we had to use the AC more than we liked, but otherwise it was a wonderful trip. Lisa was extremely responsive to anything that came up during our stay.

We enjoyed the location in Poipu and the nearby beaches plus it was easy to access the west and east parts of the island!

This villa was perfect for us - a family of 5. Everything was very neat and clean. Easy 5 min walk to Brenecke's Beach and 10 min walk to Poi'Pu Beach. Very close to great shopping and restaurants in the Koloa / Poi'Pu area. Seemed no one else at the Villas were there, so we had the whole parking lot and pool/hot tub to ourselves! The Villa was great - washer and dryer were huge - same ones we have at home, so we knew how to operate them. Showers and bathrooms were excellent. Only criticism was we happen to show up on the hottest day of the year with record temps and humidity levels in Kauai. The windows were open, but no a/c was running when we arrived. It was 115 degrees F in the villa per my SCUBA watch reading. But the villa has 3 portable a/c units - 1 downstairs, 1 in the master bedroom, and 1 in the back bedroom. After closing all the doors and windows, and running the a/c units for 24 hours, it cooled down nicely. It was a rough first day though - like completely unbearable - we had to go to the beach for the afternoon to let the villa cool down. Again, speaking to locals, it was very unseasonably hot/humid at 90 degree temps and 95+% humidity - so atypical situation I suspect. Overall, 5 stars for sure! You will not be disappointed - really nice villa, beautiful view of the ocean, daily sightings of honu and monk seals, close to everything on the southern shores. Poi'pu Beach has some excellent snorkeling - thousands of beautiful fish and a few honu swimming around as well! Thanks Lisa for a great vacation spot!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa. I spent every morning and night sitting on the lanai enjoying the view and listening to the waves crash against the shore. Being so close to the beaches was a definite plus. I was able to walk to Poipu Beach and snorkel in the mornings. My sons and I went on trails nearby and were in awe of the views. The pool and jacuzzi were another perk. We had them to ourselves the entire time. Our stay in Kauai at the villa will be a fond memory for many years to come. I feel very lucky to have found this villa. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!!

This villa on the water is about as good as it gets in Poipu. Everything we needed was there. It was very well furnished. The owner is very attentive and has local maintenance people that know what they are doing. Highly recommended. We spent a wonderful 9 days without a hitch.

Everything was perfect. Quiet solitude with a view of the ocean but no one could see us due to the fence. We strolled 3 minutes down to the deli in the morning for coffee and across the street to Poipu Beach to see the sea turtles sunning. We had the pool to ourselves since all other villas were vacant and the hot tub was great. The villa itself was very comfortable for the five of us. Would highly recommend this villa for a stay in paradise!

We chose this spot for my parents' 59th anniversary and it proved to be an excellent location and a wonderful base for our explorations of the southern part of the island. The condo is well stocked for those who wish to cook in but well positioned to put you within easy driving of lots of the islands "hot spots". The cool breezes that move through the house keep you cool and the owner was incredibly responsive and kind as she assisted in my handling the needs of two octogenarians for this trip. We will definitely be back to kauai and we will based ourselves out of this condo.

We weren’t sure whether renting an oceanfront property would be worth it... but yes, it definitely was! Almost every day, from the back patio and upstairs balcony we saw whales breaching and spinner dolphins doing their acrobatic jumps (bring your binoculars!) plus incredible sunsets over the ocean. We could hear the gentle ocean waves at night, making it such a calming, pleasant place to relax. And it was an easy walk (just a few minutes) to Poipu Beach. The condo was perfect for our needs with two very large bedrooms upstairs and nice decor and comfortable furniture throughout. There was a nice bookshelf with several travel guides and a closet containing boogie boards, snorkel gear including fins, and beach mats. The owner was great to work with- she was very quick to respond when we had a minor issue upon arrival and she ensured our stay was the best it could be. Highly recommend this rental!!!

Windows open at night, wave sounds, gentle breeze, I slept great. Very roomy for two couples. Happy hour with a great view of the beach.

Well appointed with comfortable furnishings. Clean and spacious accommodations with easy beach access. So happy we chose this property.

My wife and I, along with her mom, sister, and brother-in-law stayed here for a wonderful 10 days. The property is very comfortable, well kept and equipped. We wanted for absolutely nothing during our stay. The view from the Lani is awesome! Whales, turtles, and dolphin showed up most every day. Lisa is super easy to communicate with and very responsive. We absolutely loved it here and hope to return again. Thanks Lisa!

Lisa, has an amazing place just across the street from the beech. Great Oceanside location with amazing views! Condo gave us everything we wanted and more...including wonderfully helpful condo owners next door! WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE! Todd and Lori Oklahomans!

This was our first visit to Kaua’i, we loved our villa at HONA KAI. From the stunning views from our lanai, to our comfortable bedroom suites this place met all our needs. The pool was all to ourselves since there were no other guests this week. We look forward to a return visit.

This condo was spacious, had high end furnishings and was RIGHT on the ocean. You get a gigantic balcony and patio facing the pacific to watch amazing sunsets. It was just a short walk to Poipu Beach which is one of the best places to snorkel. The pool was very private and at the end of our stay we were the only ones there. The owner was incredibly responsive and we would not change a thing about our trip except maybe to have stayed longer 🙂

Our family really enjoyed our stay for a few nights. We snorkeled, surfed and spent a lot of time body surfing at brennecke’s!

The unit was way better than expected. The location is the absolute best. We could see sea turtles out front daily. Listening to the waves crash from the property was so tranquil.

We had a great week in Honu Kai Villa 2. The house was perfectly sized for my family of 5 which included my kids aged 21, 19, and 17. The location is outstanding and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The house is well stocked for all your cooking and living needs. Loved listening to the roar of the ocean all night and day. I suggest walk up the private driveway to sit on the rock bench to enjoy the sunset. The pool was very clean and the water is warm. Before we arrived, Lisa sent us an email with many suggestions that were right on point. We plan to reserve another week next year at this same location.

Beautiful, comfortable condo in a great place. Very spacious for 4. Awesome Views from both lanais. Easy walk to beaches and park. So much better than the crowded hotels on the other side of Poipu.

Complete in every detail, this unit is comfortable, contemporary, and unique inthat it is one of six villas on a common property. Rare to have such a quiet and private spot adjacent to all the attractions of Poipu. Ocean accessible from the back patio, pool and hot tub from the front, and reserved parking steps from the front door. Lush landscape enclosed the complex. Loved the sunsets and morning runs along the beach. Getting to and in the water for surfing, snorkeling, boogie boarding and swimming was an easy walk in either direction. Sea turtles were also entertaining. This stay was one of our best in Poipu. So grateful to have experienced this lovely home.

Couldn't be happier. The condo provided everything we needed, was in great condition and the location was perfect. We all had a great time and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kauai.

This is a lovely home in a terrific location. The ocean is across the street and beaches are 5 minutes walking distance away. The home is well appointed with a full kitchen, two bedrooms upstairs -- each with its own bath, and a powder room downstairs. Although the owner makes no claims that the home is stocked with spices and basic cooking oils, we found many necessary cooking items in the cupboards. Also, the home had a body board, beach mat and beach chairs. The washer and dryer are great and very handy in this damp climate. A few things needed repairing but the owner got right on it and was very responsive. We especially liked the sound of waves crashing at night and couldn't wait to find sea turtles in the surf, as well as monk seals and turtles on the beach at nearby Po'ipu beach. Shopping is a 5-10 minute drive away at three different spots where visitors can find good restaurants, groceries, galleries and miscellaneous shops.

Lovely view of pacific. Ideal location for sunsets and snorkeling. Home comfortably accommodated. Perfect location for day trips for sightseeing. Delicious local restaurants near. Ocean serenading at night, comfortable breeze.

Easy walk to the beach.

We chose this home because we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It was very close to the beach and when the windows and doors were open we could hear the ocean. It was so relaxing! The yard was full of tropical flowers and plants. We even had three little doves that were so use to people that they would walk on patio right beside our chairs without being frightened off. We will definitely return and highly recommend this VRBO.
