The condo was in a great location. Had a nice view of the ocean (great for sunsets). It was comfortable and had plenty of supplies to last for the week. There was nice equipment in the kitchen and plenty of dishes and tools for cooking. The complex was quiet and well-kept. Having the beach towels and beach chairs was great.

Nice condo that is close to Poipu beach

Condo was clean and the air conditioners (2 min-split units) did a great job during a fairly warm week. Bed was comfortable. Location is excellent if you want to be near the south Kauai beaches.

We were not disappointed with the condo. The location was better than we expected and the condo interior was very nice. We loved the views from our deck and enjoyed coffee there every morning. We would highly recommend Nihi Kai #803. When ever we come to Poipu Beach, we would stay there again.

We first stayed at the Nihi Kai villas in Poipu over 8-years ago and have no intentions to ever stay elsewhere. The property is located beautifully to everything on the South Shore and the experience each time is relaxed and peaceful. We are going to start making this a yearly trip.

Great location! The view is the real deal! Not close enough to hear the waves but you can see them from the lanai. The beach is close but not really walking distance. 803 is very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen. There were beach chairs, ice chests, and an umbrella to use. The umbrella was broken, asked for a replacement on day 2 of our stay, never got one. The bed is comfortable, the closet is a nice size. We'd stay there again!

Would recommend a new beach umbrella and tightening the loose upper towel bar and shower handle. These are minor details. Loved the unit and would definitely return. Thanks for the comfortable stay. Great condo and pool

If we come to Kauai again we will probably stay at Nihi Kai villas again. love it! When we talked to the office about a knife sharpener and replacing a bulb in our range hood it was taken care of within a day. Wow what great service!! The couch was uncomfortable if you were watching tv, the dining room chairs felt “hollow” and need foam replaced…so were uncomfortable. We loved the umbrella! thank you for the deck chairs. we used them everywhere. thanks for the cooler which we also used everywhere; loved the big bottles of shampoo and soap – great environmental step! loved the AC; it was a great vacation at this property!

Beautiful condo with a view of the gardens and ocean from afar. Very quiet and family friendly.

Gardens beautiful you could here the oceans and birds in the evenings while watching the sunset on the balcony. Condo beautiful clean and spacious. Very nice pool, loved walking through the gardens to get to it. Great location quiet , could easily drive to attractions within 1:00 to 1:30 radious for day trips. Highly recommend ! Poipu beach lovely you can walk down to it or bring your beach gear with the car and park at the public parking 5 min from the condo. Thank you for your hospitality easy to self check in and check out which is much appreciated when flights are outside the office hours.

Almost paradise!

???? Loved the views. Location was great and the place was quite comfortable. A broken screen door was quickly repaired by management… a big thanks to them. ???? No matter what we tried, the unit was too hot in the evenings to be comfortable indoors! The place needs air conditioning!!!

Perfect base from which to enjoy Kauai (Unit 803)

Just came back from a wonderful 5 night stay in 803 – would highly recommend. This unit was bigger than it looked in the pictures, and everything we needed (and more!) We could see the ocean from the lanai, but not very well and at quite a distance. Excellent and well-equipped kitchen, huge TV (and another in the bedroom), spacious bathroom, big closet. Staff were helpful in organizing a late checkout for us. We washed our towels in the unit (washer/dryer with detergent) as it was an extra cost to have them changed. You can walk to Brennecke’s (basic food but nothing special) and Poipu Beach, but we drove to most other places. Lovely morning and sunset walks along the beach. The wifi was free and the FASTEST ever in a hotel/condo!

Beautiful location & condo on well maintained grounds. Excellent experience throughout reservations, checkout, price, ect. The only conwas the unit would not cool down. As mentioned in other reviews, cross breeze was non-existent despite considerable effort to create. Stayed for the month of July. We turned ceiling & 3 portable fans on the moment we arrived and never turned them off.

Very convenient location, comfortable size for two adults

We stayed here to be close to my son’s family who stayed in another condo in the same complex. The only reason I would not stay in this particular condo is that it was too hot. Because of its one bedroom design it did not have the cross breezes that the other two bedroom condos had. Consequently it was very uncomfortable sleeping at night-too hot in spite of using the overhead fan and portable fan that was in our bedroom. Otherwise it is a nice property in a lovely development. View of ocean is minimal-better ocean views were had in my son’s condo nearby where we spent all of our time.

Unit 803 was just right for us. There were some practical issues that concerned us, but we addressed them in the written review we handed in. One in particular: the toilet had a huge, ancient (illegal, I believe) tank of water – very, very wasteful. The TV console had not been dusted. Some days were too hot even with all fans going. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and to Brennecke’s. Also loved having the pool available.

Relaxing, beautiful and spacious

We had two families in our group, therefore stayed in two condos. We enjoyed both places, were pleased with all the extras that were included (soap, shampoo, paper towels, etc). I have to say, the teenagers played a lot of tennis, it was a hit! We also enjoyed the BBQ The location was perfect, we could walk to the beach plus we dined at the restaurant up the street…which we walked to. My only concern was that I reported a lost silver bracelet, and no one got back to me…

Beautiful winter vacation paradice

We stayed in Nihi Kai Villas unit 803 for 3 weeks in March 2010, the service was great on arrival we had a small problem with one of the windows and were unable to connect to the internet, both were promptly fixed.The condo was well furnished and the kitchen had everything required, the location is at the end of the road and is extremely quiet. We liked the large lanai facing west toward the ocean and had a spectacular view of sunsets, also because it showers for a few minutes most every day we were able to view many rainbows some of them double. The only thing we did not like was the barbeques were not clean enough to use but that was a small thing and we would recomend Kauai and the Parrish Properties to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Great location at Poipu.

The Nihi Kai Villas was an excellent place for a vacation stay. Being so close to Brennecke’s Beach was a huge plus. I was able to walk to the beach for body surfing whenever I wanted. Each morning we took walks by the beaches which afforded many beautiful sites. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the 1-bedroom condo and the front office people were nice and helpful with information.

Heaven on earth!

We spent four nights at Nihi Kai and could of stayed much longer. Our condo was amazing – big and bright and super clean. We had all the amenities of home and in one of the most beautiful places on earth! It has a well equipped kitchen, huge lanai with a view that never ends. The property itself is well looked after with beautiful gardens. The pool was very clean. The staff were very good and it was quiet when we were there. The beach is good for children as well as snorkling. This is one of our favorite spots ever – we will go back – highly recommend.
