This was an absolutely beautiful condo. The setting was tropical, quiet and lush. The interior was super and so well equipped. We couldn’t believe all of the appliances in the kitchen! We worked from the condo as well and had plenty of space and it was easy for each of us to find a quiet spot!

The rental is better than we expected with lots of room for me and my wife. The linens are definitely thoroughly washed clean. Kitchen has everything that you’ll ever need. Everything works. The Lanai is a bonus that we used all the time especially when the whole compound is surrounded with giant trees and exotic plants. The stream that runs through the whole compound is very relaxing especially at night. We’re a 700 feet away from Kukui’ula shopping center. We stayed for 10 nights and it was very quiet and peaceful the whole time. The roosters are there early in the morning to make sure you’re ready for another day of adventure in the island. We’re definitely coming back and maybe next time with our whole family.

Fabulous condo, with a truly paradise surroundings.
The condo is fabulous with plenty of room. Completely stocked with everything you might need. Plenty of towels. The lanai was so nice to sit out on. The resort is amazing a true tropical paradise. Beautiful bubbling creek with fish and frogs. Amazing flowering plants thru out. Quiet and secluded. Pool is very nice and quiet. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in Waikomo Streams condos before, and it really does have beautiful grounds full of trees, flowers, streams, koi pond, and nice pool. Very peaceful, a gorgeous tree out back off the balcony with a bamboo grove also. The only interruption to the serenity was the roosters waking you up every day (sometimes starting at 2am!), and you have to keep the windows open to stay cool. Convenient location, close to the beach and to shops. Well equipped kitchen. The main bathroom has a huge jet tub, and a rain shower above, but no shower curtain if you choose that option so it was a little strange, but beautiful. The washer and dryer are very small, stackable. The dryer is not the best, and the front of it is sort of pulled away from the dryer itself. We had to run it several times to get things dry, and only a few items at at time, but it did the job eventually! I would recommend to the owner to oil the butcher block island to prevent easy staining.
Beds were comfortable!
Beautiful apartment, gracefully decorated and in proximity to great locations. We loved the super equipped kitchen, the comfy beds, and all the details. Please beware that the place has no AC and when we were there, especially during the daylight hours, it can get pretty hot. Otherwise great place!

While it is true that this unit is not air-conditioned, it does have ceiling fans, standing fans, and many windows that can help the tradewinds cool things down. When the winds do slow down, it might feel a little warm, but again, keeping the windows open and fans running should help it cool off. Had a really good time at Waikomo stream villa #433. We came over for a wedding nearby and the condo suited us perfectly. it was clean, airy, spacious and had everything we needed. Would recommend for others looking for a place in the area. It's only a short walk to shops, beaches and it's a great place for a base while you explore the beautiful island of Kauai.

Condo was comfortable and roomy. I would have enjoyed the patio more, but the unit below us smoked marijuana in the morning and evening every day of our stay.

Loved the decor in this condo, very well equipped kitchen beautiful landscaping around with a nice pool. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and beaches near by.

Parrish was very responsive place is very well furnished, kitchen was best equipped if stayed in so far, loved the bed and pillows were awesome. I slept like a baby. Lanai was very nice beautiful surroundings. I would definitely stay here again.
Don't stay here if you like sleeping
I strongly recommend you find somewhere else. I didn't sleep more than a few hours every night. What the listing fails to mention is that there is a nearby seal colony (like a couple of blocks away) and one or two of those seals bark and bellow all night every night. I was woken as early as 2:30 am and no later than 4 am every day. To add to the issue, there was a sprinkler motor that came on every morning at 4:30, making a loud, high-pitched screeching noise. I was exhausted the entire time I was there and my vacation was ruined.
We are very sorry to hear about your sleep troubles during your stay. In speaking with various experts, including the Marine Mammal Center's Hawaii Monk Seal Hotline, we found out that Hawaiian Monk Seals don't gather in colonies and don't make barking noises. The noise mostly likely that a frog or toad was in the nearby Waikomo Stream. With the mobility of nature, there is little we can do to predict or remedy any disruption it may cause. Many find that nature, especially the Monk Seals, as an exciting part of a Kauai vacation. While this was a very unfortunate situation for you, it was beyond our control. Regarding the mechanical noise, we were unaware of it until you brought it to our attention given that no other guests reported the issue before. Either way, we passed on the comment to the condo association to locate and resolve any issue, should there be one. While we appreciate you bringing it to our attention, we do feel that a 1-star review is an unfair reflection of the property and the island.
This was a great place to stay. Centerly located to shopping, beach, restaurants. The only bummer was the pool & hot tub were closed which was a huge selling point for us.

Beautiful home with everything that one could want! The lanai is especially peaceful, the early morning chorus is heart warming and the pool is refreshing with just a handful of residents. Would definitely return!
Great Location
I've stayed in unit #433 twice; great location and close to everything. Parrish Kauai staff are excellent and always very helpful.
Tropical paradise
Loved the layout and decor of the condo with lush, well-maintained gardens. It’s not on the beach and you can’t hear the ocean but the bird sounds, water flowing from the stream and beautiful mature landscaping more than made up for it. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Nice location
Pros: I like that this property was so close to the beach and shopping. Lots of room and the beds are nice. Cons: I feel like this property needs a little attention. Stains on carpet, screens need fixing, beach amenities like chairs and umbrella are old and broken. Possibly update the tv? After a long day at the beach trying to put a show on for the kiddo and struggled with getting connected on the tv/internet. One little thing to note, the frogs are LOUD at night. I know its Hawaii and the setting is amidst the jungle but just a heads up to guests staying. Overall, a decent property but feel like a few little things could make it ever better.

Enjoyed staying
The hosts were in regular communication throughout. The property was pleasant, well stocked, and in a very good location close to Poipu Beach and the main mall on the south part of the island. The property is pleasantly appointed and the grounds are lush green, giving a very tropical feel. Loved the balcony seating/dining area. The only thing to keep in mind would be that it has no AC. For us, it was not a problem (daytime temp was 82F) as there was a cool breeze all day if you left the windows open. But it does mean that you hear the birds, frogs, etc., from the very early morning if that bothers you. We would be pleased to stay here again.

This is an absolutely fabulous Airbnb. Everything from the color scheme, the roominess, the well appointed kitchen, the open floor plan, the jacuzzi tub, the gardens, the proximity to the beaches and restaurants, was just superb. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back.

This lovely space is just as comfortable and accommodating as it looks in the pictures. A very convenient base for exploring Kauai. The garden was an added bonus. We really appreciated the concierge shopping service as well.
