The condo was spotless with a lot of cooking utensils, and beach going items. We had no problems at all with check-in. We wanted a location near the grand Hyatt, which is where this condo is. There were several other people in our group who were staying at other places. It was agreed that ours was the cleanest and had the best view. We also enjoyed the large swimming poolThank you for everything.

We absolutely love the Parrish concierge service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their communication and attentiveness is outstanding. We love staying at Poipu Sands and particularly enjoy this unit. Its location is perfect for accessing beaches, hikes, restaurants, and shopping. Although no central air, there is a great cross breeze through the main living areas and the master suite has a portable A/C unit that keeps you exceptionally comfortable for sleeping. We appreciated the beach chairs, accessories, and used the cooler every day. We cannot recommend this rental highly enough and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The Parrish team takes amazing care of their clients and we are grateful for your attention to every detail. Thank you!

Everything about our stay was good. There were just a couple of little things, that as an owner of another property, we would like to have had. First was hand soap by the kitchen sink and the other was fabric dryer sheets to help alleviate some of the musty smells in a humid environment. We love the property.

Poipu Sands is a great location - walkable to a beautiful beach and walkway in front of the Hyatt. We would stay at Poipu Sands again but not in this unit. When selecting an AirBnB we read the relatively recent review that the bathtub in the condo was dirty, we took a chance that with a public review calling out that issue, Parrish Kaua’i/management company would have fixed the cleaning issue. We were mistaken. We couldn’t use the bath tub to bathe our toddler. When we showered we stood on a towel because the floor of the tub was also dirty.
We reported this the evening we checked in and the management company’s response did not include an apology and they did not rectify the issue during our stay. For the price, at a minimum, the condo should be pristinely cleaned.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, as cleanliness is extremely important to us. The overall location of the unit was a 10/10. This was our first time in Kauai and I cannot recommend staying in Poipu enough. However, we experienced a surprise when we arrived with a note on the patio door telling us it was broken and not to use it. We paid extra for a ground floor unit and to be able to use the back patio. The host was not able to fix it the entire time we stayed. We reached out multiple times to get it fixed and they stopped responding. I reached out after our trip and they declined my request for a credit saying the door was still usable despite the note saying not to use the door. Luckily, Airbnb took care of it for us. The place pverall felt dingy. The bathroom shower was very dirty. Both mattresses were very uncomfortable, some of the worst I’ve ever slept on. On our next trip I would definitely look into the same complex but not this unit.

All units include a lanai or balcony, and there is no additional charge for a ground-floor unit. Pricing is based on amenities and interior rating; your first-floor location did not incur extra cost.
Prior to arrival, we advised that the sliding glass door was operable but could be difficult to open. A maintenance sign incorrectly indicated it should not be opened, which we acknowledge was an error. A technician was dispatched at your request but was unable to access the unit due to the key not being left in the lockbox, and we did not receive further communication.
The matter was later addressed through Airbnb, which issued a $3,300.00 credit—exceeding the amount paid for the stay. This was not noted in your review.

We loved our stay at Poipu Sands. My husband and I have stayed in Parrish homes 6 out of the 7 times we have visited the island. The one and only time we didn't go through Parrish, we learned how truly exemplary the customer experience is with Parrish. Every detail is thought of, the homes are in exceptional condition, the staff is accommodating, welcoming, and exude friendliness with the true spirit of Aloha. We are very grateful for the opportunity and look forward to being back in another Parrish home with our extended family in a few, short months.

Excellent pre-stay communication and staff was very attentive and responsive. The location is perfect, near the beach and local shops, restaurants and attractions. The condo we stayed in was well appointed with kitchen wares, beach chairs, etc.. My wife and I both agree, this was our favorite most relaxing vacation in years. The grounds and area are quiet and peaceful. We left relaxed.

Beautiful unit that is well appointed
by Matt R.Our extended family had a handful of condos in different communities within Poipu and we had the nicest unit. Other options in the area have larger pools or more grills but this unit has everything we needed. Beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella were included. The kitchen was well appointed and the grills were very nice. Our kids did mention that th pull out couch was less comfortable than others we have used.

Perfect stay at Kauai
by SaraThis unit was very clean, spacious and very good walkable distance from the beach. The parking lot is right behind the building. Unit has full kitchen and all appliances necessary for cooking. It had washer and dryer in unit. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the very nice location, nice view and very easy check in/out. The Poipu Sand is located in a nice and safe neighbor hood. We were very satisfied with our stay and will come back again! 🙂

Wonderful stay in Kauai
by Debbie T.Kauai is our new favorite island. We enjoyed our time here. The condo accommodation was fine. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable We requested a top bed and that did help. I suggest replacing the mattress. Next time we will stay in a condo with AC. There was a portable unit in the bedroom which helped but it’s very noisy.

by craig b.The unit was great, good location next to the Grand Hayat and beach, we stayed at the Hayat which is a rip off Disneyland by the sea but after seeing where my son and his girlfriend stayed #315 we wish we could have moved in with them check in was a breeze and the over all experience was quick and easy.

Amazing ground floor ocean-view location!

Great place and great AC unit!
by Victor S.Second time In Kauai for us with the first Vrbo also bring in Poipu Sands but without the AC. Us non-Hawaiians had a big fan in each corner of the room at full blast while we still felt like we slept in the heat! This time it was much much better with the AC to turn on at night and no additional fans were needed. Otherwise great ocean view, minute walk to the beach and tidepools, stocked kitchen, and everything inside looks to be in good condition. Would highly recommend.
Quiet and Relaxing

I found the condo very clean and more space than I would need for myself but it was still the best price in the area. I had friends staing at poipu sands and the grand Hyatt. We could easily walk to the grand Hyatt for wedding events and we always appreciated the sleepy vibe at poipu sands. I walked almost ever day along the water to poipu beach and that took about 20 minutes. The only issue I had with the condo was the check in / check out process. I picked a location in poipu to be distance to the different events I was attending for the wedding week. However this condo does not have a keyless entry. I had to go back and forth to their property management office which is about 20 minutes which is a huge hassle with bags. It’s not inclusive or thoughtful towards travelers who do not bring a car.
