This condo was just what we needed for our family. It's is in a quiet yet convenient location walking distance to the beach, restaurants and an easy drive to many attractions. It was clean, more than you would ever need in the kitchen and comfortable. Located on the ground floor with parking near the door. There are two spots for teens to sleep (murphy bed and pull-out) which is hard to find. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place, spacious inside, lovely grounds and nice pool. Solid kitchen and equipment. Be aware air conditioning is a portable unit in bedroom only, and is a bit over-bearing. Nice to have but doesn’t moderate well. A/C isn’t an island standard so not a huge factor and this is better than none when it’s overly hot - but FYI. Would still stay again.

Look no more- everything you need in a condo and more

If you are like me you read the reviews of many places to get a sense of your options and then cross your fingers and hope your rental meets your expectations. #49 was the perfect vacation rental. For starters- The Parrish Collection is ALWAYS accurate in their photos and you can’t really go wrong. What was special about Unit 49 was is was fully stocked. And by that I mean EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a beach vacation was provided. The owners have ensured that it feels like YOUR vacation home with all the perks and extras you would need- cooler, beach chairs, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Games to play, TV, books… the list goes on and on. The AC unit worked amazing in the bedroom. I had concerns since stand alone units are sometimes not the best. The unit’s AC was new and kept the bedroom really cool at night. The bathrooms are moderns and updated and t is so nice having two full bathrooms on vacation. We had zero issues with bugs of any sort. The unit looks out over the pool and the ocean (exactly as pictured) and the complex is quiet and peaceful. You can walk to many of the things you might want to do in Poipu. There are two golf courses with a mile or two. We golfed at both and loved them. So if you are debating condos- this place is amazing, and a real find. We will return next year!

Wonderful stay in Unit #49

We just returned from our stay at Poipu Kapili in Unit #49. We stayed here for the second week of our two week honeymoon and cannot say enough good things about this property. The grounds, location, and units are wonderful. After staying in a big resort the first week it was nice to spend a week in a quiet and relaxing condo and be able to stretch out a bit. Unit #49 was lovely – we were initially hesitant about a ground floor unit but it was so convenient to be able to walk right out to the pool and back and forth to refill drinks and snacks. We had several activities planned so didn’t spend quite as much time at the unit or pool as I would have liked but we really loved coming back to relax by the pool for a happy hour drink after spending the day at the beach. Our unit was quite comfortable – two full bathrooms that seemed recently renovated and a very well-equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and we loved sitting out on the lanai to drink coffee in the morning. We were skeptical about not having central AC but figured we would manage with a unit in the bedroom – but all of the comments from others on the trade-winds turned out to be 100% true. We only turned on the AC one night the entire week – and it was only because some other guests returned home at night and were talking loudly outside our windows and my wife didn’t have the patience to wait them out. Otherwise the cross-breezes in these units is amazing and we slept wonderfully at night. Overall we had a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Also, our interactions with Parrish were great – everyone was very nice and helpful. I also must have made mention of our honeymoon when I booked because they left a bottle of champagne and a nice note in the fridge waiting for us when we checked in! The location on the South Shore was great and we enjoyed some very nice meals at nearby restaurants. I can’t think of any complaints!

Beautiful location and wonderful condo

This is our second stay at Poipu Kapili but the first time in unit #49. i think it’s the best location in Poipu. The views are astounding and the grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The condo was spacious, clean and situated perfectly to walk out to the pool or the ocean from the wonderful lanai. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped with utensils – although it would have been nice to have some basic cooking staples other than salt and pepper. Both bathrooms are also updated and very nice with excellent shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and cream available. The pictures are accurate – the place is lovely!! We rented this unit because it had air conditioning in the bedroom. The only reason I’m not giving our stay 5 stars is because the air conditioner broke down after our first night and leaked water all over the bedroom. The property managers were on-the-spot and helpful but the problem wasn’t resolved during our stay since they had to order a new air conditioner, which arrived the day we checked out. We were kindly refunded a portion of our stay for the inconvenience. The location is perfect – within walking distance not only to the beach and luscious walking paths but to a wonderful shopping village with great restaurants and stores. We’re golfers and there are several courses nearby. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends! Mahalo!

Beautiful gem on the best part of the Garden Island

We stayed her four out of our 7 days in Kauai. The property is beautiful with well maintained grounds and pool…and that beautiful view. The staff was helpful and the unit we stayed in #49 was furnished nicely, clean and updated. This is close to everything you need like shopping, beaches, restaurants and great beaches for swimming, snorkeling and seeing sea turtles. We will be staying here again!
