Such a beautiful place to stay with an outstanding view! Right outside the complex is where all the locals come to enjoy the amazing sunsets and you get to just walk! The unit is really big for a one bedroom and my husband and I enjoyed having our own bathroom. The pool area is nice and peaceful and you don't have to worry about getting a lounge chair. My only recommendation is to let people know where to find the lockbox to get the key to enter the unit. Highly recommend and will return there the next time we are in Kauai.

Cynthia – she really shined during my reservation process. I had originally planned to utilize Airbnb during this visit, but my Airbnb was literally canceled two days before I was scheduled to leave for Kauai. I had stayed at a Parrish property on a previous vacation to Kauai and so then turned to Parrish lodging options and was so fortunate to find a unit at Poipu Kapili was available. Cynthia made the reservation process go so smoothly, for which I am very grateful. Never again will I use Airbnb, but will always use Parrish! This was my first time at Poipu Kapili. It would have been wonderful to have a short tour of the property (at least quick highlights). It would have also been wonderful to understand the concierge services available and their willingness to make suggestions on restaurants, activities, etc. I felt that the overall welcome was lukewarm. The photos on the website portrayed the unit very accurately. It’s a tie between the unit itself, which was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful and meticulously maintained, plus it was quiet there, which is what we were looking for. The pool is so lovely and lots of people utilize it, which is great. However, a lot of people using the pool disregard that the pool closes at 8:00 PM and there were families in the pool at 10:30 PM. Even though they weren’t super noisy, the sound really carries throughout the grounds. I’m not sure if there is an effective way to enforce the pool closing time, though.

Very well-run and well maintained property.

The booking process was easy online. I don’t recall a prompt for return guests but the gal at the desk suggested I put a note in the comment section. Same with requesting a late check-out. The pictures available online at the time I booked were very nice, so it was quite a surprise to walk into a newly renovated property! The upgrades (especially the washer/dryer) were beautiful and very much appreciated. Our envelope was exactly where it was supposed to be. I appreciate the automatic light that came on as it was extremely dark when we arrived. Although since this was a return visit for us, we knew what to expect. We left a Top 10 list in the log book ???? But basically we loved the location and comfortableness (is that a word?) of the unit.

We had stayed there 6 times before it changed to the Parrish Collection and really like how close it was to the ocean. We like the cleanliness of the grounds and swimming area. We also like the nature sounds we can hear, although those are taking a toll with the new neighbors encroaching.

Location of property, and beautiful landscaping.

Spaciousness of the unit. Check the gutters on Building #4, I’m pretty sure either the gutters or downspouts (or both) need to be cleaned out. It rained a couple time while we were there, and rainwater was pouring over the tops of the gutters.

Nice condo, quiet area.

Beautiful condo, beautiful area, quiet. Young lady at front office needs a little tutoring on friendliness, courtesy, smiling. Don’t know her name so I can’t help you there. Also dealt with a more mature lady who was always very cordial and welcoming.

It would be helpful to receive a list of all of the items provided with the condo when the booking form is returned. The condo is so well-stocked with linens, towels, beach towels, beach supplies, toiletries, that it would be nice to know in advance to plan. Having air condition available in all rooms in some of the deluxe or premium condos would be a nice option to upgrade.
