by Sierra J.So to sum up our experience staying here at this particular condo was OK not great not completely terrible.The biggest issue we had is when we first checked-in early, which they make you pay a half a day for no one else has ever done that I’ve stayed at the plantation many of times and I would say this would be the first that they charge you a half a day for an early check-in besides that We get there early and we noticed the master bathroom has hair all over the sink all over the shower all over the toilet and then the shower curtain was covered with black mold. You can tell whoever’s cleaning and managing the place is kind of just done the bare minimum. The showerheads could be replaced. The carpets could be cleaned They were pretty dirty just seems like it’s not being managed or maintained very well. The AC in the living room did not work when we called to let the parrish team know the issues we had they offered to come clean the place, but we were already checked in and just wanted to get settled and start enjoying our vacation. They did bring a new shower curtain for us to replace. The pros I will say is the plantation hands-down is the best property in Princeville. This condos on the corner and your master bedroom is on the street side so it’s a little noisy, but you don’t have any neighbors right next to you . The refrigerator was brand new and worked really good same with the icemaker which made it really nice for the beach every day for our coolers.

Guests may also wait until regular check-in and receive earlier access at no charge if the home is ready. In this case, you chose the guaranteed early check-in option. When you reported concerns about bathroom cleanliness and the shower, we immediately offered to send housekeeping back to address them at a convenient time, but the offer was declined. As a gesture of goodwill, we refunded the early check-in fee. We also notified you more than a month before arrival that the central AC was unavailable and that portable AC units had been placed in each bedroom. We apologize that your stay did not fully meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to host you and hope to welcome you back.

Overall our stay was good. We were informed ahead that the a/c was not working and they put window units in the bedrooms. The place is definitely dated and could use some touch-ups. We had bugs in the garage one day, but they weee responsive and put I. Traps the next day. We were told there was a tv I. The bedroom and there wasn’t and only half the toaster worked. All these things were reported. The pool is walkable from the unit.

After reviewing your reservation notes, we saw the toaster issue was reported at checkout, so we weren’t able to replace it during your visit. We’re also sorry for the miscommunication about the TV, and we’re glad our team was able to assist quickly with the bugs in the garage.
This condo is a Deluxe unit, which means it’s comfortable, well‑maintained, and has received updates over time. For future stays, you may prefer our Premier or Premier Plus units, which offer more recent renovations, upgraded interiors, and higher‑end finishes.

Great location, but major issues
The unit is in a great location near key spots, and the space itself is convenient with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and beach gear in the garage.
Unfortunately, several problems made the stay disappointing.
We were notified only a couple of days before arrival that the AC wasn’t working, even though it’s listed as an amenity and reviews show this has been an issue for months. A refund was offered, but the timing made it nearly impossible to find another place.
The unit also had a fly problem — we swatted dozens and kept doors/windows closed, but flies were a constant issue throughout the stay.
Lastly, interactions with the community management office were rude. I was blamed for dropping weights in the gym when it was someone else, and another day was told to “go find a rock to lift” when the gym was closed.
Good location and size, but I can’t recommend this rental given these issues.

Regarding the AC, we notified you as soon as we learned that the system was inoperable. Living on an island makes timing for ordered parts or full system replacements hard to predict, and unfortunately, delays can happen. We did install two portable AC units to assist in keeping the home cooler. Unfortunately, you did not report any details to us about the flies, otherwise we could have tried to assist with mitigating their presence. The community manager is employed by the AOAO and is not a Parrish Employee. We certainly apologize for any unwelcomed comments from him and would have spoken to him on your behalf had we known.

The place in princeville was very nice little area for us to gather. Check in process was very easy & when we arrived it was clean & stocked with everything we needed for our time in Hawaii. The AC stopped working, and the ceiling was leaking due that, I reached out & the emergency number I was provided never went through.. so I reached out on the APP and they came and fixed it. The garage is fully stocked with supplies for you to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Hawaii & I really appreciated that! We had a nice stay here in princeville.

AC wasn’t in good condition, we stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights but was able to use the AC for 2 nights only, it was hot at night when we don’t have the AC.
We apologize for the inconvenience of the inoperable AC for the last 2 nights. We did send our team out to access it as soon as it was reported. We found a corroded pipe and a clogged drain line was causing the problem. Our team did a temporary repair and the AC was operable. Our Guest Service team requested that you only run the AC when needed to prolong the use of the AC until we could get a technician scheduled for the repair, which was completed after your departure.

The location ALONE is worth coming back again and again! I have stayed in quite a few Airbnbs and I was a bit bummed at some of the other things I experienced during our stay. Again, the location was SO GOOD, it ALMOST outweighs everything else. We did have some however have some issues with bugs, unable to connect to wifi which made it difficult to contact the host, the tv didn’t work, and some issues with shower and general usage issues throughout the house. Did not expect that for such a highly rated place. Had these issues not been present it would have been a FIVE STAR review hands down!

The condo was great for the 4 of us. 3 teens and myself. A/c to combat humidity, washer, dryer, kitchen. Garage with some outdoor items to take to the beach. Pool, hot tub, and BBQ on property. Would rent again at this price point.

It was a great place! My only heads up for everyone is the wifi is pretty bad, we would lose connection a lot. But, we weren't really home very often because you are in Hawaii!! Other than that, it was great.

This was a great place to stay. we had an issue with AC but they were very quick to respond. There was a lot to do up in that area. Great beaches. and good food and shopping nearby.

Location was very nice and outside grounds very well kept. Not far from beach or shopping. Overall great place, but, carpet was dirty as bottom of socks were black. Kitchen chairs need replacing and couches and carpet need shampooing.

Very satisfied with our stay at Princeville! Location was great. Close to shopping Center and Farmer’s Market. The Parrish Team was very communicative and gave clear instructions and recommendations. They were also very helpful in helping us retrieve an Airbud we had left behind at the place.
