Lawai Beach #1-314 is a nice, comfy 1BR, 1BA condo unit. Beach equipment in BR closet. A/C works well and is quiet. Resort is very well landscaped and maintained. West pool was nicely heated.

Nice condo

Overall the accommodations and location were good! However one complaint I had was the spotty internet! My husband planned on working a bit but lack of reliable internet made the very difficult!!

The Lawai Beach Club is in a wonderful location; across the street from great snorkeling, down the street from spouting horn and McBryde gardens. There are nice restaurants, Lappert’s ice cream and a weekly farmer’s market at the nearby Shops at Kukui’ula. It is located well if you want to explore Waimea Canyon, Lihue and Kapa’a. The drive to Princeville is about one hour. Unit 1314 is a very nice unit, with lots of space, a Lanai that overlooks the pool and the ocean beyond. There are plenty of kitchen items if you are interested in cooking in the full kitchen. The check-in process with Parrish was easy and communication from them before we arrived helped us organize and plan our trip. We had an absolutely fabulous vacation!

Parrish Group handles this property, they are excellent managers. The condo was lovely, very clean and had fantastic views of the ocean from the lanai. We could listen to the waves while having breakfast or a cocktail. Great location, wonderful restaurants nearby, and easy access to the small boat harbor for a trip to the Na Pali coast or to the airport for a prop plane tour of the island, both highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lawai Beach Resort right at the beachfront on the southern coast of Kauai. The apartment was very clean and well furnished even with lawn chairs to bring to the beach only a short walk away. The highlight of our stay was enjoying the large lanai where we could relax and overlook the beach while having some refreshments. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect home base for our Kauai adventures

My husband, our two young adult daughters, and I stayed in this property and would definitely stay in this unit again. It was very clean, had comfortable beds ( master and sofa) and a lovely lanai with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to do some cooking and we enjoyed being able to use some beach chairs and a cooler for a picnic. The only reason I rated the check in lower was because we picked up the keys from the Parrish office in their drop box and the keys didn’t work for the unit. We had to get security to let us in the first night and get new keys in the morning. Other than that glitch, the Parrish staff and unit were great.

The unit was very nice. It was pretty muggy at night so we will consider a unit with AC next time. We picked this particular unit as it was close to the Hale Luana. We needed additional room for our family. They spent all their time at the house so we didn’t ever get to the condo. Great view though!

We had a great stay at this condo and it was fine for our family of four (with the two girls on the sofa bed in the lounge). Enjoyed the beautiful views, great location, and the property itself has great amenities – lovely pools and hot tubs, table tennis and mini-golf on the roof. Short walk to the beach. The condo itself was well equipped – we appreciated the full-size shampoos etc, coffee, and use of the beach chairs. We would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Great location but fell a little flat

The location of this condo can’t be beat. Centrally located on the island and on the water. The morning sunrises are amazing! Unfortunately, there is no AC so it gets incredibly stuffy in the condo, especially at night, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the pools are very small and there were never any chairs available for us. There are no food options on the grounds of the condo if you get hungry. Overall, we had a nice experience and it was decent for the money.

Usually the trades keep things cool, but I do understand that it can get warm sometimes. For your next trip, please consider a unit with AC as we have many. Sorry about the pool as well. We will pass on the the Association as maybe they can add more chairs. For food, we always recommend The Beach House right across the street or Kukuiula shopping center which is a 10 minute walk up the road. Glad you had a nice experience and hope to see you again soon.

Gorgeous view

Pros: The pictures don’t do it justice. The resort and unit were clean and beautiful. Gorgeous ocean view and fabulous nature sounds. (Ocean waves and birds) Cons: Even with fans unit was warmer than we preferred but not unbearable. Ironing board could be replaced. While ironing it collapsed and I burnt my arm. Overall, very pleased and would stay there again.

Excellent- has all that you need

We took a long time choosing where to stay in Poipu and decided on here as it was closest to snorkeling and was just updated. The place was great with many things we didn’t expect, like a safe, lots of beach stuff, chairs, some fins, boogie board. Nice furniture (not cheap plastic on the Lanai for example). Very comfortable. The bedroom is at the back with windows that are adjacent to the outside hallway. With the windows, you could always get a nice breeze through for sleeping. Kitchen had even more stuff than you’d expect. Glass wineglasses. A dishwasher, pans to even cook a turkey including a meat thermometer. I could go on, but the place was stuffed with extras. Nice view from the Lanai, but not sunset, at least in winter due to trees and small apartment in front. Very comfortable place. You could see that they had upgraded the bathroom and shower, nice quality upgrade. The beach across the street was lovely for snorkeling, lots of variety, safe. We snorkeled in other beaches in Poipu, but this was best. So all in all quite excellent.

Felt Like Paradise

After a long flight, hauling a 3-year-old and getting lost with our rental car in the middle of the night, opening the door to our condo rental and seeing how comfy and inviting it was inside was… Priceless! Everything was as pictured: The condo was spacious and very clean. The bedroom was very tidy, functional and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The place had carpeting, but it looked very clean, so I didn’t hesitate to let my son roll about. The kitchen had everything one would need to prepare home-made meals, and a blender to prepare that much-deserved after-beach/mid-day pina colada! The washroom was the only letdown, it was big enough, just needed a little revamping because of the slight stains on the counter and in the bath. The soaps provided were heavenly and I truly regret not purchasing some before I left…. The grounds were very well kept. There are 3 pools, but we only used 2. The waterfalls pool was a great hit with our son; he actually preferred it to the beach! I was pregnant, so I couldn’t use the spa at the time, but my husband loooved it. Lawai beach is just in front, it’s a 5 minute walk through the grounds. Baby beach was a little hard to find, but it was just a 10 minute walk. Also, along the roads, they would routinely clean the coconut trees and leave young coconuts on the side. Don’t hesitate to take them! The coconut water inside is great!! We’re usually budget travellers, so for the price we paid, I honestly didn’t expect much. But we certainly got a LOT more for our buck for this place. Altough it was really a great place to kick back and relax after a day sightseeing, we’d have “lazy moments” just hanging around the grounds and the condo itself. It was THAT comfy! ETA: I rented this place through the Parrish Collection, which were truly fantastic to deal with. I wish all rental agencies were this great…

We loved our unit. Getting checked in was seamless with all our information available at the rental car facilities with clear directions. The landscaping and grounds were beautiful. One day, we had occasion to happen on the grounds at the Sheraton and the Lawai Beach Resort’s were hands down much more gorgeous. Our unit was on the market during our stay and needed a home inspection while we were there. The realtor was kind, accommodating & worked around our schedule. She even left a box of chocolates for us as a thank you! The setting was perfect; our lanai faced the ocean and we enjoyed many sunrises from it. The staff were kind and courteous too. It is centrally located and we would love to stay there again! Thank you!

For our honeymoon stay, we were very pleased with the accomodations at Unit 314 and found it very comfortable and well furnished. We would highly recommend anyone stay here. The setting is pleasant and being able to hear the surf at night was very relaxing. Having such easy access to the snorkle beach across the way was fabulous and a must see. What a perk to be able to walk out the unit and enjoy the fish, turtles, and luckily a few monk seals.

Best home base in Kauai

I stayed at the Parrish for a week and it was perfect. The southern end of Kauai was always sunny, and Poipu Beach was 2 minutes down the road. Right across the street was a great snorkeling and surfing beach – sea turtles everyday! The unit had everything – there was nothing I ever needed that wasn’t there. The service was also amazing – they totally went out of their way to sort out the internet connection the day I arrived. I’ll be back in Kauai to hike the Napali Coast, and I’ll be staying at the Parrish again.
