The house was lovely and well-appointed. There was a lot of common space to hang out. The beach is not quite as close as the ad indicated, or else I’m not very good at estimating distances, but the beach was still very much within walking distance. However, if you want to bring chairs, towels, and snacks to the beach, you’ll need a car. Check-in was simple, and check-out was easy as well. The rooms were large and comfortable, with ceiling fans in each room. The yard was gorgeous, with a pool and jacuzzi.

The place was immaculate and very beautiful. Kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. Beds and rooms were awesome very comfortable. Location was perfect and neighborhood was very quiet.

When we check in on Tuesday night a note was left that the dryer was not working and would be fixed on Friday. The dryer was not fixed on Friday, we checked out on Monday 7 days with out a dryer. When you pay $1,400. a night you expect everything in working order.

Great home but needs TLC
This negative review is more on the management/maintenance of the property. We stayed at the property 7 days and on day 2 we noticed the refrigerator was not cold. I notified Parish and they sent out a “repairman” who did nothing to remedy the issue. The next day I again notified them and the sent him out again. He came out and again said the issue was resolved but it continued. Finally on the last time I notified them they said we should use the refrigerator located in the Garage. I really don’t feel for a home of the price we should have to walk to the garage everytime we needed something out of the refrigerator. There was lots of maintenace issues throughout the home. There was extensive Tile work in the home and around the pool. It needed much maintenance as there was lots of missing grout/cracks. There was several areas in the home where there was chipped/marked paint. By the way I contacted Parish privately and gave them the chance to respond to me privately and they did not. I answered their Survey and reached out to them at checkout when I returned the keys. Overall this is a great home which met our requirements of our Family for a once in a lifetime trip to celebrate my Wife and mines 46 anniversay. It slept our 9 family members quite comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub . Great location ,close to everything We had a great memorable time in spite of the issues. I will update this review if Parrish Collections decide to reach out to me to discuss these issues.
Aloha Fredrick, per your request, we did reach out to you but never heard back. We apologize on the repairs needed on the refrigerator. The appliance guy did clean the coils the first time expecting it to work and unfortunately, it did not. We only mentioned the second frig in the garage as we always have them in our larger homes as a convenience for large groups, thinking it is better than not having any options. In any event, please know it has now been addressed and again apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, because the tile on the pool deck is more cosmetic than anything, the owner has chosen not to replace it at this time. If anything gets to be a hazard, please know we will certainly correct it. Note, we did get a chance to touch up a lot of the paint during a recent refresh. Overall, I am glad you had fond memories and we look forward to hosting you again to create some more. Aloha an a hui hou.

Perfect House with it all
This wonderful spacious home is located in a quiet neighborhood direct next to a golf course. The welcome packet with coffee was so cool. The kitchen had everything we needed from blender to toaster, pots and pans etc. Two large fridge/freezer combo provided space for all of our food and drinks. The grill on the lanai was a bonus that we used often. The landscaping of the property is nothing short of amazing! Loved it. The bedrooms are all huge and located in the corners of the house (up and downstairs) which provides plenty of privacy and the common areas are large enough for many more than the six of us (5 adults 1 child) in our family. The property is located a super short drive (2 min) to the Poipu Shopping Center with restaurants and stores that cover all your needs. It is a 5 minute drive to the nearby beaches and within 10 minute drive is so many shops and restaurants that you don’t have to spend too much time in the car. The staff at Parrish were super. Before we arrived they kept us informed and after arrival checked with us several times during our stay see if everything was alright. Really wonderful experience would highly recommend this property to any group. Thanks Parrish for making the key part of a vacation not a problem but a pleasure. Although we won’t need a house of this size for the next time we go to Kauai we will go through Parrish again for our rental needs.

Check in process, having an office vs a vrbo or private rental. Bedding was old and worn, maybe one of the worst pillows on earth in the downstairs off living room bedroom but there were spares… I found the last day haha. Everything else was great.

Beautiful area
Our family of 9 stay at this house for 10 days in March. This house backs on to the golf course which is very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at this house. I will list the pros and cons of the house Pros -- the house is large it fit our 3 families very well. There are 2 fridges in the house one in the kitchen one in the garage. There are plenty of beach chairs and pool toys. There is lots of dishes and pots and pans in the kitchen. Cons -- there is no air conditioning in the house. We had bugs in the master bedroom lots of them. (They did come in and spray but this should have taken care of before guests arrive). The doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are louver doors (shutter style) so you can every sound in the house. The pool is not heated and even though it’s warm outside the pool is very cold to swim in. The rugs are dirty and need a cleaning. The windows and screens r very dirty. The shower doors need a deep cleaning. The house needs to be upgraded. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. The house has a musty smell to it. They only have 2 dish towels and 2 dishcloths in he house for you. Linda
Aloha Linda, we apologize for the intrusion of pests. We assure you that the home is on a regular treatment plan as pests are common in a tropical environment, and actually come out after a treatment/spraying to die. We again apologize on the inconvenience, we know it is frustrating. We are sorry the pool is not heated, this is not a common thing in Hawaii. Please know we did have all the carpets cleaned after the busy season. With all the back to backs on this popular home, it was difficult. On the windows, they were cleaned before you arrived, but with the heavy rains during your stay, it did not help much. We again apologize on all the cons, but know we addressed them. Aloha

Spacious house, nice pool, quiet location.
The house was good for larger families. We all had our own rooms with bathrooms. The pool was private making a great location to hang out. It was only a short drive to the beach.

Very nice home.
It was great having the 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It was very quiet and relaxing with many restaurants nearby. The only drawback was that the pool was not heated and in January it was almost too cold to swim. Wish they had an option to pay to heat the pool, which a house we stayed at in Palm Springs had. Would have been worth it. But we loved the house.

Very lovely home.
Spacious home. Each bedroom having their own bath was a plus. The pool was very cold. I wish we had had the option of paying to have the pool heated if we desired.

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE. We were sorry that our original selection was taken off the market but pleased that your team helped us secure a good replacement. We do like to try different homes and condos on every trip. We reported that the hot tub had not been cleaned (sand and film on the water), and it was addressed right away. FYI -- We wanted to use the mailbox, but it was filled with mail. In the notebook, it would be helpful for more instructions on what to recycle (which plastics?).

Christmas Gift to Children and Grandchildren
This holiday was a Christmas gift to our children and grandchildren . Everything exceeded our expectations and the memories will last forever . The rental has everything you would need for 6 adults and 4 children ( 9, 7 , 5 and 3 ) There was a Christmas tree in the garage , everything you would need for the beach , including chairs , sand toys for the kids. The grandchildren were in the pool and hot tub every day . If the kitchen was missing anything , I don’t know what it would be . The arrival and departure were seamless . Any issues we had during our stay ( all minor ) were addressed promptly by the staff. The house was easy to get to and a short drive to beaches nearby.

The perfect house
We had a great family vacation in this beautiful location. The house was perfect for our large group. Beautiful Home
Just finished a 10 day stay at Kiahuna Vista. Outstanding property and well stocked. We loved it so much we re-booked for next year around the same time. Plenty of space in the house, we never felt crowded. The staff at Parish are fantastic (as always). I would suggest that Parrish meet with the owner to discuss the stove top burners. They don’t work very well. The upstairs bathroom overlooking the backyard has a shower problem. The water is always scalding and couldn’t be used. These were shared with Parrish staff while we were there so I hope it gets corrected.

We will be back! This place is amazing!
The perfect vacation rental for a family. With four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms, this was perfect for our three adult kids and spouses, and ourselves. The kitchen is very large, and the dining room table seated all of us. The living room was perfect as well. The pool, spa and outdoor area is spectacular. I can’t say enough great things about this rental. The property managers in Koloa are wonderful and the place had just about everything we needed.

Kind, Helpful & Honest!
Due to unforeseen circumstances with the condo we had reserved for our 10 day stay in Kauai we had to move. 50th anniversary celebration
A dream come true. After many years of planning to insure our entire family would be with us, The Parrish Collection personnel provided the turnkey to insure our 10 days were filled with every plan we asked them. From a beautiful 4 bedroom home to golfing and dinner reservations, followed by a zip line adventure and tubing we could not have asked for more. Good memories
We not only stayed here before, we built the house as a second home in 1989. We were delighted to find it available as a rental. It has been excellently maintained, is beautifully furnished and well appointed. The adjacent golf course has been significantly improved and was a pleasure to play again. Our six guests, friends of more than 50 years, had stayed in the house during our ownership, and all agreed it was a highlight to get together again in a rental where we all felt at home.

Very nice house
The house was closer to nice snorkling and diving spots than we expected. Just 3 minutes of drive and you are at Koloa Landing snorkling or diving with the turtles. This is the place where we made our first steps in scuba diving. We are from Poland and this was our first trip to the US. Kauai was wonderful and so was the house too. Very convenient and comfortable. In Europe we rented a lot of vacation houses in different countries and we can give the Kiahuna Vista an excellent note. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Nice view. The pool was good for our kids. I do prefer the see, but if you have children it’s perfect. The people on Kauai were very friendly. We even met Hawaiians with Polish roots dating from 1898 in the oldest catholic church on the island in Koloa. The equipment and furniture were very nice and we enjoyed the big lanai in the evening. Spacious and fully equipped
This was a great property! Kiahuna Vista was fully equipped, from the kitchen to the living room. The view was very nice, the BBQ’s next to the pool at sunset were awesome…Definitely better than staying at a hotel. The office team was very efficient, helpful, and attentive; everything was setup and ready for our arrival. We will definitely come back to this property or any property by Parrish Collection. Mahalo for making our vacations so memorable!
