Beautiful views. Only complaint is that the 2nd shower wasn’t working so we all had to share the shower in the other bathroom. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

The view was amazing - just like the picture. We didn\'t spend much time at the resort's beach, although it did have good snorkeling. It was a steep 5 minute walk to the beach shared with the One Hotel, which for those less able, the resort provided golf cart rides to/from. We ventured out most days - hiking, kayaking, and visiting other beaches. The unit had beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler for use was much appreciated! It was nice having the Happy Talk Lounge onsite for a dinner option that didn't require a 10 minute drive into Hanalei. Overall, it was a comfortable unit with plenty of space in a very pretty and well-maintained complex.

The listing was well appointed and had the most amazing views of Hanalei Bay. The feedback and checkin from the hosting firm was excellent. The pool area, while gorgeous, doesn\'t offer food or drink service, which was a bit of a disappointment (you can bring your own). Overall, it was a good experience.

Hanalei Bay Resort is the perfect place to stay with the most amazing views. The property is really lovely. The birds, nenes, chickens and roosters were entertaining to watch. The pool and beach were really nice too. The beach is quite a walk down a steep path, but you can have one of the property’s golf carts bring you back up. The Happy Talk Lounge is good and has live entertainment. We would definitely stay here again!

Hanalei Bay Resort is the perfect place to stay with the most amazing views. The property is really lovely. The birds, nenes, chickens and roosters were entertaining to watch. The pool and beach were really nice too. The beach is quite a walk down a steep path, but you can have one of the property’s golf carts bring you back up. The Happy Talk Lounge is good and has live entertainment. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, but this place is so old and tired
by K T.vrbo We are frequent travelers to the island and always stay at least one week at Hanalei Beach Resort and love it there, but we were a little disappointed with this place. I hate to say this because I\'m a VRBO host myself and I know all the work that goes into making a place homey, but this fell way short. Other than the obvious wear and tear (mold in the bathrooms, water damage on the walls), and the mattresses that were old and super lumpy, not having bathroom mats, but one of those tony towels for the floor that you get in cheap motels, there were some MAJOR issues that got in the way of us fully enjoying our stay: One stays in a place like this with their family, rather than a hotel, so they can cook meals in, but I had to contact management to deliver knives that were sharp enough to use safely, and the only cutting board was wooden (ew... so unsanitary) and stored under the sink with the cleaning products (double ew!), so they delivered one of those too. There is no way to prepare a meal with one cutting board, let alone multiple meals, so I cannot imagine why they felt that was ok. Same with the pots and pans - I made French Toast one morning and the only non-stick pan was only large enough to fit a single piece of bread, so that was weird and cumbersome and it took forever. There weren\'t mixing bowls, or a cooking sheet, or a coffee grinder -- in short, the kitchen was not stocked thoughtfully AT ALL. A lot was missing and what was there was not good quality.. The coffee maker is so cheap and old that the coffee came out tasting extremely burnt, so we had to go out for most meals and go find coffee each morning. A huge inconvenience all around. The other thing that falls into the unacceptable category for us was, their (2) duvets for the #2 bedroom and no cover on them and both dried, crusty... something on the material. SO UNSANITARY I was mortified that they would have a duvet on beds with no cover that CLEARLY was not being sent to the dry cleaner in bet
As fellow hosts on VRBO, it certainly is disappointing you exaggerate and/or misrepresent the facts for dramatic effect. Hopefully your guests are more respectful to you. If there was any mold, we apologize, but you never mentioned it. Had you, we certainly would have come back and addressed it immediately. In fact, our records show you called once and asked for a coffee grinder and cutting board, that is it. Both were delivered to you the following morning. What is frustrating is to find that you did not even open up the new knife set we delivered. I guess the existing ones were not that bad after all. We also found a whole set of cutting boards in one of the upper cabinets, so again disappointing. Had you offered your opinion on any of the other items you felt needed replacement or restocking, we would have brought them to you and/or worked to correct it. However, you failed to mention any of this. As for your description of the beds, you are completely distorting reality. The duvet covers on the beds are in fact washed and pressed after each guest. Thus, the stiffness you experienced was professionally pressed linens. We remove the duvet insert this time of the year given the warm temperatures and they are stored in the closet. After you checked out, we did check and see and they were there, untouched, in the storage bags from the laundry. Not sure why you do not mentioned the blankets that were also on the bed. Again, disappointing that a fellow host on VRBO would be so disparaging and downright deceitful.
The most beautiful view
