What to Expect During Your Stay at Poipu Sands in 2024.
Depending on weather and seasonal factors, there may be construction activities Monday through Saturday, but not on Sundays, during evening hours, or before 7am. Official working hours are from 7:30am – 6:00 pm. You should expect to hear noise and see workers installing new roofs per the schedule above. There will also be construction equipment and supplies on site. Construction will be limited to the buildings as noted above to minimize the disturbance to the rest of the property as much as possible.
SAFETY ZONES: Yellow caution tape, barricades and/or orange cones will designate work areas on or around buildings.
PARKING: Some parking areas will be offline during the entire project, others near buildings as construction necessitates.
ENTRANCES: Unit entrances and lanais may be temporarily closed for short periods for safety.
PERSONAL SAFETY: As with all construction, guests need to be diligent when walking around construction.
Spend the day at the beach or hiking (easy or hard) and avoid any disruption altogether.
