Great big condo close to everything

Loved this vrbo. Had been to Poipu before and stayed at Sheraton which is a short walk from the condo-so much more space and more economical- Literally walk out the door to Brennecke’s beach and then just another 100 yards to poipu beach. Stayed here with my 17 yo daughter and her best friend and great for them to have their own room and bathroom-and bonus upstairs bath. Parrish property management very communicative and immediately helpful on day one with a troubling shower faucet. We rented a car to explore the island but if you are just hanging in poipu it’s not Needed. Would highly recommend this unit. Huge light upstairs, AC, beach chairs, tennis rackets and balls, snorkel masks, and beach umbrella - with wagon to carry all! (Beach stuff not people!)

We loved our stay at Nihi Kai unit 700. The decor and updates in the unit were very nice - it was easy to feel at home here. It was a great use of space and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, as well as the pool on site - perfect for some lazy days in paradise! The whole grounds are stunning - so many beautiful tropical plants and flowers. The views are magical. The parking was simple and hassle-free - always able to easily find a spot. We will definitely be back to Nihi Kai Villas!

This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. We coukd easily walk to the beach, were close to running routes, had plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with everything I could think of.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts provide a lot of extra little things that we appreciated: beach chairs & toys, as well as laundry and kitchen items that are not always provided with other rentals. We really felt at home. The location is excellent: very close to Brennecke's Beach and a short walk to Poipu Beach. Only area for improvement in my view was the pool area: the hot tub was not heated, and periodically there was a strong sewer smell there. Overall, we really liked the place and would stay again.

We stayed in condo unit 700. It's two stories, with the beds and bathrooms on the bottom level. There was a half bathroom on the top level. No issues with the condo. The rental had AC which was nice, and everything was well stocked and clean. It was a great space for the four of us. The bottom bathtubs were a bit dated, but everything worked. We were within walking distance to Brennecke and Poipu beaches. They have a swimming pool/hot tub, but we did not use it. The area felt safe, and the neighbors were quiet. All around, a great stay!

Wonderful location, great space for a family of four. This unit is just up the hill from Brennecke’s beach, which is perfect for teens/adults who want great boogie boarding. You have to walk just a few more minutes to get to the adjacent Poipu beach. The condo is equipped with beach chairs and a beach umbrella which we appreciated. The upstairs living space is very generous and open with lots of space to spread out, and the view is quite nice though the water is a bit distant. Sunsets are gorgeous from the large deck. A/C and fans keep the place very comfortable. Kitchen has what you need, is well organized, and has plenty of space to prepare meals. We found the furnishings and fixtures (especially those in the downstairs baths) in need of updating. After 2 nights of no sleep in the very old king mattress, I shared my experience with the host and was pleasantly surprised that they delivered a different and much improved mattress that day! Really grateful for that quick response. Host was very communicative and check-in/out procedures were easy. Ample parking just a very short walk from the unit. Would not be great for anyone who struggles with stairs as you climb a gentle incline then stairs to get to the unit and the stairs inside to get down to the bedrooms are a bit steep. Linens were minimal and lacking quality (scratchy sheets, one cheap blanket on the bed) but that wasn’t a huge deal to us. The condos were super quiet and peaceful at night. We rarely heard other guests (and only during the day on occasion) so it felt private. My kids enjoyed the tennis court and pool as well and found them to be empty most of the times they visited. Overall we enjoyed our stay, really loved the location, and appreciated the host’s responsiveness and communication. Mahalo!

We had a fantastic stay in this condo. Great location with view of the ocean; able to walk to Poipu and Brennecke's beaches. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms, very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Excellent communication with staff. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our first family trip to Hawaii and we feel lucky to have stayed here. Perfect for our family of 4.

Dream Vacation

This property was perfect! Steps from the ocean, safe, clean, quiet, had all the kitchen items we needed. Beach towels, boogie boards, beach wagon and beach tent provided. Great location for access to the perfect beach for our family. Appreciated having Safeway deliver groceries to us.

This condo is perfect. It’s very spacious and clean. All appliances were working, we had no issues. Beach gear such as boogie boards, chairs, and sunshade was available at the condo. It was easy to communicate with the front office. The condo is walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. Parking in the lot was easy and convenient. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovey condo

Just as described and mere minutes from the beach! The property was clean, kitchen well- stocked with cookware, and quiet in the evenings. My family thoroughly enjoyed our Poipu stay at this condo.

We really enjoyed our very low key stay

???? The lovely gardens, the very spacious living and kitchen areas. Location was great and the complex was very quiet. ???? The sliding door in the main bedroom couldnt be locked. The very bright security lights made it hard to sleep in the brightly lit second bedroom.

Condo 700

Overall very comfortable but requires repair to garberator. Outdated bathrooms and in need of repair to cabinets. Lovely furnishings and well equipped kitchen. Nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas. Lots of updates obviously have been done. Ongoing process in a humid beach environment.

Property was nice and a few minute walk to the beach

The condo itself was nice. The bathrooms were in need of updating. The heat without air conditioning was NOT tolerable. All the windows and doors were kept open, but there was no breeze that would cool down the condo especially at night.
Aloha Charlotte, we apologize for the lack of trades during your visit. This is one of the warmer times of the year in the tropics and when the trades do not blow, it can get warmer. For the future, please note that if AC is a requirement, we have many units with AC that you can chose from. Mahalo.

Beautiful, relaxing vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nihi Kali. The proximity to the beach was great, the pool was wonderful and the grounds were lovely. The condo itself had everything we could possibly need along with a great view. We would definitely stay there again.

The unit had everything we needed and more.

I liked the grounds, the pool was clean and a perfect temperature. I like the plantation style and that it’s not a huge resort. We also enjoyed the ocean view. The Gardner’s were very nice. Also, we locked ourselves out and had to call the emergency number. The person responded immediately and we used the exterior lock box. The on line information from the hospitality app was extremely helpful.

We loved the property.

Friendly staff, and quiet community, and great location. Chris printed out my son’s homework for me, and took down our information for our lost phone. The woman in the office who has the other desk, she allowed us a late checkout, even though the office was closed, she accommodated us. A young lady who was walking around the property provided us with great information -about he island, and swiftly came to our unit to help us with WiFi connection and remote batteries. Timmy, who takes care of the grounds, was friendly and went out of his way to talk to us and make us feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back!!

Fabulous!

My husband and I stayed in this unit on our honeymoon from March 15-20, 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. The unit itself was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Many hours were spent on the lanai enjoying the lovely landscape and the many birds. The ocean was a short walk away and we were able to see many turtles. The beach is also within walking distance with great snorkeling and monk seals! We loved the island of Kauai and loved staying at Nihi Kai. The staff from Parrish Collection were helpful and very friendly. We will be back!

Quiet, clean, roomy, fully furnished

place is quiet, not a big hotel complex, close to the water. minor -- the wifi code emailed to us was incorrect and we didn’t notice the wifi code (the correct one) in the book…we checked in the with office and the situation was easily corrected -- it was seamless

Beautiful and well maintained

We have rented a lot of vacation homes in different areas and they always have a variety of spices for cooking and foil, plastic wrap and or plastic baggies for food storage. Nothing was suppled in this unit. I think its unreasonable to expect people traveling by air to supply these standard kitchen conveniences . Parrish is Accommodating but I like going through private parties for a more personal experience and posted reviews. Parish doesn’t post reviews made on their properties.

Overall, a great stay at Nihi Kai. I noticed while walking around the area that you offer a lot of properties, including larger homes so I will definitely book with you if we return as a large group. Appreciated the welcome phone call, and the thank you call upon our departure and your willingness to let us extend check out time. Unit 700 had a beeping smoke alarm upon our arrival -- reported to office and it got fixed right away. Appreciate the prompt service!

Comfortable layout and furniture; beautiful landscaping; view of the sunset; the brightness of an end unit

Although I would definitely come back in the winter, the lack of air conditioning would be a problem in the summer. One very minor suggestion is to provide wash-clothes in the downstairs bathrooms.

It is always wonderfull to make a reservation with the Parrish staff (which I do at least 5 times a year). I love them all! I am a government rental, so I usually deal with Cynthia and she is great, but everyone else I hav edealt with is wonderful also (Novella, Anne, Amber, Joanne, etc.)

Comfortable, pretty, well equiped stay

The unit was spacious & well appointed. The remodeling made the unit more spacious & appealing. Special extras were already there; coolers, beach chairs & matts, kids beach toys & snorkel gear, every conceivable kitchen utensil & glassware. Didn’t want for anything that you normally buy to have & leave behind! Landscaping was lovely & noticably well cared after. Enjoyable relaxing time. The bathrooms could use a remodel, but who hangs out there while on vacation?
