Amazing Stay!
by MichelleWe stayed at Nihi Kai #101 for 2 weeks on the beautiful island of Kauai. The property is in a perfect location, steps from the beautiful beaches of the south shore with shopping and restaurants in walking or close driving distance. The property itself is well maintained, beautiful grounds, handy barbeque area, and a delightful pool that never seemed to be too busy. The suite was very clean on arrival, and spacious for 5 adults. The views are exceptional. It was very well appointed, including items for the beach. We had a few minor issues (coffee machine and one beach chair broken) but when we contacted Parrish Kauai, the staff were responsive, friendly and very efficient! Everything was addressed before we got back from the beach! The check in process was smooth with excellent communication, as was check out. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked for next year!
Amazing Condo
by Stan P.So many good things about this condo: location, location, location. Cocktails on the Lanai steps away from the ocean with unobstructed view to see seals sleeping on the surf while the sun sets. The condo is so close to the beach that it was easy to go back and forth for lunch or drinks. And if you want to cook any meals, the condo had everything you needed, including very clean and well maintained BBQ grills. Also available are beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and coolers. Although each room had an AC unit, we preferred to sleep with the windows open to hear the waves break. The property manager was also very informative of local events and quick to fix the WiFi when it went down. And parking was a breeze. Overall, such an amazing condo!

Good location and view of the water; Kitchen had good supply of dishes, utensils and pots/pans for cooking; Inside space was amazing; Parking was accessible; The only improvement we would suggest would be the mattresses in the 2 smaller rooms-- the mattresses were very soft and lumpy (no springs or board) and not that great for people with back problems-- otherwise, everything else was great!

Loved the condo, best unit in the facility. Only unit close to ADA compliant and for those needing single level. Best view of the ocean. Very well appointed kitchen. Beds are all very comfortable. We had family in multiple units. Everyone wanted to stay in our unit as we had enough seating to accommodate us all. We played cards every night, having the multiple tables came in handy. Highly recommend unit 101...absolutely perfect.

We felt quite at home. We had a little one with us & felt the beaches, grounds & home were very toddler friendly. We loved sitting on the front lawn & watching all the sea life with good snorkeling and kiddie beaches within an easy walk

Unit #101 was a large unit. Great living space...and the A/C was a bonus because it was high humidity season during our vacation.

My family of 14 came to Poipu and stayed on Parrish properties to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. All had a great time. Poipu and Parrish is our favorite for visits and accommodation since early 1980\'s.

Perfect location and REAL AC! Many homes advertise it but this location has a silent mini split in each room. You can hear the water from each bedroom, and the living room has an ideal west facing view of the ocean overlooking Brenneke’s beach. Locals and tourists alike sit on the yard wall for sunset, to give an idea of how coveted the area is.

Not recommended
by Joan T.The property was run down. One of the toilets was filthy. The unit smelled of mold and my friend has allergies so was really affected. There were rodents. The manager tried to help by cleaning the toilet and setting mouse traps but was unable to move us to another unit.
We respectfully disagree with your review. The property is not run down. The interior is “Deluxe” which is self-defined by “updated within the past ten years”. Had you wanted a new unit, you should have booked a “Premier” or a “Premier Plus” rated unit. There is no mold, however we are aware that sometimes units can get musty when closed up and warm. There was are/no rodents as you are well aware. We set traps for you and there was no activity during your stay or even after more than a week after you. Our cleaning crew came back immediately to address your comment about the bath and nothing was found out or norm. We are sorry we could not move you to another unit as we were sold out. We strongly believe this review was in retaliation because of that.
Best place we have stayed in Poipu!
by Edward S.This is a fabulous location and property, it couldn\'t have been better for our three generation family trip. Just sitting on the lanai and looking at the ocean was perfect, but then you had the wonderful pool that was 30 steps away. Perfect access to the ocean and the whole Breneke\'s area. The only complaint was that they wouldn\'t give us a late checkout; seems needlessly cheap when you have 5 hours to clean (if a late checkout of 11 is granted) and it was pretty clear that there were few other turnovers that day (Wednesday). Having a paralyzed spouse and two octogenarians in our party who needed to be shuttled separately to the airport made the move out complicated when it could have been so easy!
