Amazing island

Amazing island. Place was very nice and clean just super noisy being so close to the main road. Started hearing a lot of traffic noise cars in the morning at 5:00 am other than that no problems

The unit was great! Super clean and easy to come and go. Literally walked to everything we needed, surfing, luau, sunbathing, great food. I would highly recommend this rental. They had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. Great experience with Parrish. Definitely would come back.

This condo is located at a super convenient location which is walking distance to the shops and beach. They provided everything we needed inside the home, which made our stay comfortable.

Although, if you’re looking for complete quietness overnight I would consider the fact that this is located on the 1st floor and there’s 3 floors total. Therefore, you will hear doors slamming and people conversing outside occasionally. We also got woken up by the nearby fire station a few times throughout our stay. It’s just something to consider if you’re looking for a quieter area.

Spent 10 days here and had a lovely time! It’s a great location in the south side of the island and is walkable to connect the main shops and beaches in the area. The unit is also super spacious and has both a comfortable bed and pull out couch.

What a perfect place to stay!

I stayed for 4 nights. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Shower was perfect. The customer service was super responsive and took care of everything instantly. There was nothing big, super small things like no replacement garbage bags. The place is a bit dated and if you close all the windows it has a musty smell but once you open the windows the trade winds come through super refreshing and lovely and makes the place ultra comfortable. They also have an abundance of fans if you tend to be on the warmer side but I never needed anything more than the ceiling fans. They have everything you need, beach chairs, umbrella and small ice chest was a massive perk. The price was affordable and they didn’t gouge on the hosting fee which was why I went with them. Highly recommend their properties!

Homey Stay

This was a very nice, comfortable condo in a good location. It’s older and a bit dated compared to some of the newer places our other friends stayed at, but everyone who saw it commented on how homey it felt. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, more natural feeling than the pristine grounds of condos on golf courses. The kitchen is completely stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery one would ever need. There’s a closet full of beach chairs and beach items. The property managers were helpful and in regular communication with us via text and email, and there is a helpful client portal for all the information you need. And to top it all off, the wall decor is pleasing to the eye, and there’s even a small family portrait of the owners and a guest book on the coffee table. We loved it!

Nice place

Nice place. Nice area. Clean. Furnished. Had all working amenities. Cons: no AC and saw a flying coach roach the first day. Probably would only stay here in the winter months, not summer. May be too hot and humid.

Expect a beautiful setting to relax. Expect a small but deep (8 foot) pool surrounded by beautiful greenery. Expect a beautiful patio to enjoy quiet moments. Expect the apartment to have all the things you need (laundry detergent, dish soap, pots and pans, dryer sheets, extra bedding) Expect to struggle a little the first time you try to unlock apartment 103, but you’ll get the hang of it. The internet was also pretty slow, but we didn’t use it much anyway. Recommendation: go to poipu beach if you wake up for sunrise. The turtles line up on the shore to rest early in the morning. The apartment is within a 10 minute drive to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location! Communication was excellent, they accommodated an early check in (which was so helpful with our toddler), and it’s a really great location being close to shops. We really enjoyed the local coffee they generously left for us and would love to come back sometime

Nice Amenities…would be better if…

The unit is nice, includes beach toys/chairs and loads of kitchen supplies. The only drawback is the musty smell in the unit when closed up for the day(and in the closets) and the bed:(. You roll to the middle.

After reporting, we came right away to address your concerns. Our housekeeping team could not find the smell that you were reporting. The mattress in the unit is new but was not centered on the boxspring properly. We took care of it as soon as we could. Perfect Kauai location and well outfitted condo

Great access to Poipu ammenities. Keep in mind when booking that this is not a pedestrian friendly area. Roads are narrow, often without shoulders. Locating your stay for driving access matters here. There was always adequate parking for us on premise for the Condo, but if you can keep the size of your rental vehicle with a small footprint, you will have an easier time parking elsewhere, as there is great competition for parking spaces anywhere you are on this island. The unit is close to the best beach on the island, and easy to get to local shopping and restaurants, whether at the historic Koloa, or the upscale shops down the street. The Condo is private and spacious. It is located next to the pool access but is not affected by the pool users at all. We had tea in the mornings and refreshments in the evening on the koi stocked stream facing patio every day with complete privacy. The grounds are richly landscaped, and well kept The Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes & utensils, important to us because we need to prepare food for a special diet. We used the furnished beach umbrella and chairs just about every day for this visit. We thought we might prefer a unit with air conditioning, but in reality it was not needed. Because of the way the unit is designed, in our 9 days it was never overly warm. Once the screened louvers were opened there was nearly always a natural breeze flowing through the spaces. For windless moments there are ceiling fans and floor fans. We loved that this condo was so livable without any other heating or cooling. In all, this is an excellent unit to stay in, and would seek out this unit again for a future visit to Kauai.

Nice Complex. Good Value. Some Noise

Complex is very nice and convenient to beach and shopping. The unit itself is good but some could find it dated. It was well stocked with everything we needed. They provided beach chairs. There was a large stain on the carpet when we arrived. We didn’t mind but some may object. A fair amount of road noise from the bedroom when the windows were open. Also lots of roosters at this complex so you may need to bring earplugs. The parking lot was closed off for three days while we were there which was a surprise to us. Considering the price we still consider this a good value and would stay here again.

Well equipped

Paradise in Kauai

The unit was very welcoming as were the staff and other residents. Thanks view from our lanai was very lush with a little stream gurgling by. Th kitchen was well- equipped. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the private path from the property to an ocean drive.

???? Sehr dunkles Appartment und roch konstant feucht. Schlafzimmer direkt zur Strasse und den Eingängen der anderen Appartments, daher nicht immer ruhig. Verspricht auf den Bildern mehr als es hält.

Der Komplex ist ein üppiger Garten und die riesigen Bäume spenden viel Schatten. Wir bieten Resort-Karten, damit Sie das Layout erhalten und die genaue Einheit auswählen können, die Sie möchten. Very nice.

Our condo was very comfortable and well-equipped. The property was beautiful. The only negative was that the pool and Jacuzzi were too cold to enjoy.
Mahalo James for your review and comments. I want to clarify that there is no Jacuzzi at Waikomo. Sometimes in the winter months since the pool is not heated, it can get cooler. We will pass the upgrade suggestion on to the AOAO. Note, Waikomo’s sister property Nihi Kai Villas does offer a heated pool, so if you come again in the winter, you may want to consider staying there. Wonderful stay in paradise!

We had a perfect stay at our condo in Waikomo Stream Villas. It was a tropical paradise with beautiful grounds, a nice pool area and friendly staff. Check-in was a breeze and our unit had everything we needed and then some. The space was much larger than we imagined it would be and it was close to so many fun activities and one of our favorite beaches to walk to, Kiahuna. We’ll definitely be back, Mahalo!

Condo in a beautiful lush tropical garden!

We were very happy with our choice of the Parish Waikiki Stream villas! First there’s the location: it’s across the street from a shopping center, a couple of blocks from a gorgeous beach, and very convenient to swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Novella ( the manager) was very helpful and the condo contained all that was needed ( except groceries) to have a great visit. Second is the setting the villas are in. The center of the villas/condos contains a lush tropical garden and running water koi pond!. The foliage affords privacy and sitting outside is a treat. All in all we were able to quickly relax and enjoy our vacation. Aside from side trips, up to Haneli and out on a catamaran to see the Napali coast; we spent our days eating fish, going to the beach and the pool, and catching sunsets. It was wonderful!

Beautiful and relaxing

This picture does not do the property justice. The patio is much more lush. Loved the pond with the Koi swimming around. The sights and sounds made the five days very relaxing. Even had our own alarm clock. The residence Rooster! Enjoyed our friend the toad too! The condo was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic experience-First time on Kauai

My wife selected this unit as being close to everything. The owners though of everything. There was tableware, cookware,silverware. They even had beach chairs,beach mats and a cooler! The location in Poipu was great-near a market and a big shopping center as well as close to the beach

We love this place!

We originally stayed at Waikomo Stream Villas in 2005 after reading about it In the Lonely Planet. It proved to be perfect for our ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ family vacation to Hawaii -- our daughter and her family were in one unit, our son and his crew in another, and we were in the third…..we were back this year with friends who stayed in yet another unit, so we have now had the opportunity to see 4 different units and we can verify they are all lovely, clean, and beautifully maintained. The grounds are gorgeous, with the bonus of a lovely koi filled stream running throughout the property. Waikomo is relaxing and within walking distance to the beach at Poipu, famous Brenneke’s, excellent shopping and fine dining. A short drive away is the delightful Old Koloa Town. Staff at Waikomo are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You will absolutely love your experience at Waikomo! Aloha

Feel right at home in this Condo!

We had a wonderful time on our one week stay in Kauai. Condo has a very fully equipped kitchen. Condo provides DVDs for home entertainment, beach chairs and boogie boards to take to the beach and everything you need to feel like its your own home. Living, kitchen and dining area is spacious. Close to everything.
