Beautiful Kauai

Unit was perfectly located, close to great beaches local restaurants...Unit itself was extremely clean and well stock with everything you would need to make a perfect vaca....checking to checking out was easy...We will see again Kauai!!!

Paradise

Our stay was amazing. The condo, grounds and location were just perfect. The unit was super clean and updated, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. There was even a coffee grinder so you can enjoy freshly ground Kauai coffee on the lanai with beautiful ocean view. Our daughter visited us for a few days and we all really enjoyed our stay. The parish management company even gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. We will definitely tell our family and friend about this unit and want to come back again. We highly recommend booking a vacation stay with The Parrish Collection. Our stay at the NIHI KAI Villas in Kauai was wonderful. Our villa located in building 8 had the most amazing views. Our unit was well stocked and super comfortable. The staff presented us with a welcome gift for our anniversary that we were touched by. Even after booking our stay I received a personal phone call welcoming us for our upcoming stay and offered a contact for information and recommendations. Great location!

Condo was great! Location was key and had an easy time dealing with property management. Though the refrigerator was not in great shape and they never came to fix it. Worked well enough so not a huge deal. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

So great in every way! Spacious for the three of us and very much exactly what we were looking for. Maybe the best option on the island as far as we could tell, and we saw a lot of places over the course of ten days!

Perfect Poipu Condo

This condo is in a great location. It’s within easy walking distance to the soft sands of Poipu Beach, Brennecks Beach and many other attractions. Another close walk is along the bluffs to The Grand Hyatt, Shipwrecks Beach and hiking trails. The 1500 square feet was plenty of room for our family of 4. The onsite management staff was helpful and responsive. The interior felt new and of high quality. The kitchen was well stocked for in home cooking.

Great location and view

This condo was spacious with a wonderful view and very close to Poipu beach. The beach gear provided (umbrellas, towels, boogie boards) was very welcome. Second bedroom had two full beds which was very comfortable for our adult children. The only drawback is lack of air conditioning. Living room cooled down from the balcony, but bedrooms were quite hot even at night.

You will be very happy to know that the Homeowners Association has approved the installation of AC and the owner of 826 is installing it later this fall so you will be able to enjoy the luxury of AC on your repeat visit and hopefully then we can earn that 5th star. Great location, nicely furnished, great home base for exploring Kauai

Wonderful condo with a great view of Poipu from the balcony. Equipped with beach gear including boogie boards and chairs. Unit gets a little warm and stuffy in the afternoon, no A/C but there are some fans to get air moving. Nihi Kai is quiet and well maintained, you can see and hear the ocean from the pool.

Great condo. Beautiful view. Super kitchen. Comfortable beds.

This was a great place to stay. Super close to Poipu beaches. Great kitchen, roomy and comfortable bedrooms, beautiful view of the ocean. Only downside was no AC. Facing south meant the master bedroom got pretty warm during the day and took a while to cool down at night.
Good news Susan, Nihi Kai 826 now has AC. Hope to host you again soon.

Clean, beautiful, great location.

The condo is located on the south shore of the Kauai walking distance to Poipu Beach. The condo is very clean, has a washer and dryer, which my wife loves. Beautiful view of the ocean, resounded with beautiful garden. The condo comes with beach equipped. (Buggy Board, beach chairs, fins, snorkeling gear). Highly recommend this place. I would differently will comeback here again.

Beautiful place

Beautiful view and clean, modern living conditions. Could have used air conditioning and we were unable to stay an extra night because everything was booked up.

Friendly, professional and helpful

Kevin, Jennifer. Sean, Skyla -- Jennifer very patiently showed all several units when we needed a last minute reservation. Kevin always had a solution for everything and listened carefully. The privacy, the parking, the view, the responsiveness from the Parrish team. It was a very comfortable and attractive condo. The owners had many quality items in the unit -- dishes, bedding, towels, utensils. It was beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The wi-fi was spotty or did not work but we were able to patch in to another unit. the light fixture/fan in the master bedroom came loose and it was dangling from the wires and the dishwasher kept running until we figured out it could only be set for an hour. The one thing that was difficult to deal with (and I realize this has nothing to do with the Parrish team) was the lawn and yard maintenance. Every morning Monday through Friday at approximately 8:30 to 9:00 the yard crew would start up their mowers, weed whackers, hedge trimmers, blowers. I certainly understand that the grounds have to be maintained, but really, every morning? I don’t know why they could not schedule it to get it done all at once or at times when the guests are gone for the day instead of a time when we are sitting on the lanai having our second cup of coffee, figuring what we are going to do for the day. I also think that there is a push to maintain the grounds before high season starts so those of us who intentionally come to the island before high season have to suffer the noise. When we checked out on Monday morning, December 21 there was no maintenance equipment running which I found interesting. We were considering renting the unit we were in for December 2016 but do not want to listen to the maintenance crew getting the grounds ready for the Christmas, New Year’s season.
Aloha Linda. Thank you for posting a review and comments on our staff, I will be sure to pass it along to them all. I will also make sure the wi-fi issue gets corrected as well as fix the light and the dishwasher. We apologize for any inconvenience. Nihi Kai Resort takes great pride in its grounds and they do require a lot of maintenance. That being said, we will certainly pass on your comment regrading the timing of the maintenance as I know they would want to do everything to ensure a peaceful stay at the property.
