Many guests find this resort one of the best examples of authentic island-style living, with banana trees reaching onto your private lanai amid acres of lush, tropical foliage. The appearance of the 15 duplex bungalows successfully resembles South Pacific and Hawaiian huts even though they are privately owned condominiums with updated modern interiors with every convenience you will need. The resort is located at the top of the hill above Poipu in the crater of an extinct volcano which keeps it cool during the hot summer months. All of the views are of wonderful tropical gardens.

There is a large swimming pool, complimentary tennis, sauna, barbecue and ping-pong tables. There's a poolside clubhouse available for meetings or parties of 15 people or less with permission from the manager. |

The Beaches |
|
Poipu Crater Resort is located four blocks from Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach, and is roughly 1/2 mile from Shipwreck Beach. This is really only a few minutes drive or no more than a 10 minutes walk to Poipu Beach. |

Interior |
|
Roughly 1500 sq. ft., each condominium is a 2-bedroom townhouse with the kitchen, dining room, living room, large lanai, full bath and guest bedroom on the lower level. The master suite and another full bath are upstairs. There is a washer/dryer in each condo, along with a CD player, TV, VCR, ceiling fans, private phone, microwave, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen and even beach towels. There is no maid service or A/C. |

Usually there is a king or queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 twins in the guest room with a sleeper sofa in the living room. However, as these units are individually owned, it could vary with each owner. |
