Our beloved Labrador and Kauai vacation rental mascot, Duke, urges everyone to support Bark for Life in their local communities. We took him up on the invitation and will be a Gold Sponsor on Kauai. This non-competitive walk event for dogs and their owners raises funds and awareness to fight cancer. Duke can’t think of a better cause than this one from the American Cancer Society.

Book our Summer Deals and you may see Duke.
If you have been to our Koloa office, Duke is usually there to greet guests. He also likes to play ball during the week at Poipu Beach or at kid friendly Keiki Cove seen here. Duke is also one of the best coconut huskers the local canine community has ever seen.
First direct release pet on Kauai. Prior to 2007, four-legged family members arriving in Hawaii were quarantined for weeks on Oahu and separated from their outer-island families. When the laws changed, Duke was the first Kauai arrival to go from the airport, to a mobile veterinary examination room, and then to family release all in the same day. He felt the Aloha spirit immediately and was reconnected with his favorite person, company owner JP Parrish.
